Winding your way down on Baker Street

Hi everybody hope you had a good start to your weekend with lots of sunshine....can't wait for Summer to return and for my travels to start!

London was one of the first places I travelled to so it's a place I love.

Today I have used a Scrapiniec frame for my project, made of out laser cut wood They have different items which are absolutely adorable and enhance your project to perfection.

I have also used the Magnolia Little Collection 2013 rubber stamps which worked so well with my theme. They have been coloured in with prisma pencils, copics and also distress ink for the background.

With regard to the dies I have used the Magnolia doohickey dies from Volume 18 - absolute cuteness!

I have used Maja Design - Coffee in the Arbour for this frame. Even those small signs 'Take a Break' and ' Join me for a Coffee' are from that collection.

I have used the papers on the background of the frame as well.

I thought since we're in London, Baker Street cannot be left out.

Hope you like today's project and I wish you all a nice week ahead

Love, Claire xxx

here is the whole blog hop list:

For my first blog hop I have done a shabby chic shadow box which also lights up.

I have used Tilda with Little Bunny, Tilda with Little Chickens, surrounded by the cutest bunnies, hedgehogs, chicks, bumblebees and butterflies.

Image has been coloured with distress inks and I have added in lots of flowers plus the chandelier garland from Magnolia which I absolutely love here's a link if you need to buy some Magnolia Pink Gardland

The dies are also by Magnolia - for this project I used the Old Swedish Lace border from the Bon Voyage collection and the  Lovely Fence from the Cozy Family Autumn collection both from 2010.

Papers are also by Magnolia, named Sweet Rainbow which go very well with this collection since there is a matching bumblebee

The box is a wooden one which I have distressed with chalk paint and wooden butterflies are what I have had in my stash for quite sometime.

Hope my project inspires some of you to create something similar!

Now it is time to hop over to my DT friend Maria Irene !

The Blog Hop will end this Sunday, March the 18th.

And remember you will have a chance to

win a secret prize from Magnolia

Happy Women's Day and Tilda from the Sunbeam Collection

Hi everyone hope you're having a fantastic day wherever you are. I am currently stuck at home with a broken foot and a wobbly right one. Thank God I can work from home as otherwise I'd go nuts in here.

Wanted to wish you all a Happy Women's Day and hope you're in a better able condition than I am haha.

So here is Tilda with Foxy for you from the Magnolia SunBeam Collection. Something I did last week as at the moment am not able to reach my craft room.

I have coloured it with Distress Inks on Langton Paper.

The sentiments are also from the same Magnolia collection. The signage die is from Magnolia as well. Love my dies.

Paper is from Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics. I just love this paper. Their collections are to die for. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Butterfly and feather dies are also from Magnolia. A doiley is always used on my projects and lace and ribbon too :)

I am participating with this card in the Maja Design March Mood Board competition ending 22nd March.

Fingers crossed

Lots of love, Claire

Magnolia DT Member plus various Magnolia cards I have done throughout the past years

I cannot begin to explain how I feel about being part of the Magnolia DT Team. I still remember buying their first magazine from where I got hooked into all this card making and creating of explosion boxes and various other items.

I just knew from Day 1 of seeing that magazine that I wanted to buy these gorgeous rubber stamps and colour them in :)

From then the whole buying process started. Nowadays I have a large craft stash and rubber stamps which are my absolute treasure.  It was not easy getting hold of all the things I wanted to start creating these cards.

Having said that, I always drew and coloured since I was at a very young age. I remember my neighbour getting a nice set of watercolour pencils at the age of 7 and I was colouring anime and writing short animated story books too.

At this particular point in time there is no particular medium which I stick to. I use prisma colours, copics or distress inks depending on my mood and what I feel like doing.

Magnolia have been my top favourite since there is a vast collection year upon year of lovely seasonal themes of sentiments, dies and rubber stamps.

Should you want to visit and have a look at the entire collection you can go to http://www.magnolia.nu and am sure you will get hooked on the originality and sweetness of these stamps.

Stay tuned for new projects which myself and the other DT Members have in store for you.

The Sunbeam Collection is out now and these little cuties are coming to mummy soon :)

Love xxx
