Living For The Weekend

Yay!  SO it is finally Friday!  I love the weekends so much! Typically it is filled with hanging out with family, a LOT of studying for Cody, laying out and relaxing...then we had a baby.  Who knew how much free time they even took up?  I Love every second don't get me wrong but it can be busy.  Usually my Mom is around a lot on the weekends and it makes it so much better but, she has been out of town the past two weekends living it up on vacation.  However this Friday night Cody and sweet Juliette are napping and I am enjoying some quiet time with my computer and the Rangers!  LOVE IT!  So I love dressing up Jewels and taking a million pictures of her ((usually until she starts screaming and the tears and red face force me to stop)).  Here is some evidence of that!  Enjoy the weekend :))

Oh so modest!

She is rarely without a huge bow in her hair.  So rarely in fact that every time this one guy in our ward talks to my husband he asks, "why DOES your wife put those giant flowers in her hair?"  Cody usually does not know how to respond.  Uh DUH..so people know she's a girl ;)  Just kidding! But seriously they are so dang cute!

Earlier this summer we went to Turner Falls, OK and had so much fun...one of the rare moments she was awake this weekend!

This is my personal favorite with her tiny finger dug into her cheek in such distress :(  She was a little hungry at this point!  She rarely cries unless you don't feed her on demand with in two minutes of the demand!  She is such a happy, chill baby.





She has the same shorts of the sweet girl I watch...Aspen was so excited when she saw her new outfit!

On another note!  I just discovered a tiny check box on the setting page that lets you update all posts with such ease!  I feel like such a dork for struggling SO bad with my first one--I am officially an expert as this only took me about 15 min.



Our Blogging Debut

Well I finally did it...The Mitchell's officially have a blog! I always planned on having one once we had a beautiful baby to brag about, but things have been busy! But, after much encouraging from family and friends I finally made time for it. Our little girl made her debut April 15 making her just over three months old. And does she ever look like a three month old, she has lost all of her newborness and if a full fledged INFANT! We have her 4 month check up in a week or so and I can't wait to see how big she is now! Here are my favorite pictures to document her first three months and get us all caught up!

At the hospital...Luckily they gave us a paci that is bigger than her face and hits her nose. Note for the next child...bring the cute SMALL pacifiers to the hospital.

She is two days old here and I love her that her pants are pinned (nothing fit when she was born) because these pants no longer even fit :( And she could not look more different.

Her blessing date was also on Mother's Day and Cody's birthday so it was a day of celebrating with family and friends :) Such a great day!

Her Auntie Cassie is a cheerleader at BYU and is already inspiring our Baby Jewels!

She is a Easter baby so I couldn't resist putting her in an Easter basket!

OK so I am sorta terrible at this blogging thing and I'm not going to lie it took every spare moment for three days to create this blog and make one post, so I only posted April pictures. Hopefully, I get better at this and don't quit immediately!
