A quick trip to the Snake..

One hot Sunday afternoon we made the short drive down the canyon to enjoy the waters of the Snake River. And enjoy them we and especially William did until the sun went down. Then home we went and to sleep a tired little man fell.

A long time coming

It has been a crazy past few weeks. William continues to grow like a weed and his new favorite activity besides falling and bonking his head is playing at the park.
We have taken many morning walks to the park so William can burn off some energy and I can enjoy a cup of coffee and the fresh air.

Another day, another tooth.

William is one busy boy. He just turned 9 months and he is working on his fifth tooth. He is also standing on his own. Walking is liturally the next step.

A much needed family holiday....

Last weekend we decided we needed to get out of town. So we packed up the car and drove to Elk River, about and hour away, to camp and fish. Besides the bugs and the long search for a campsite we had a grand time. William had his first genuine Idaho Huckleberry ice cream cone and had a full afternoon of playing with sticks and eating dirt. On Sunday morning we hiked in to Elk River falls and then stopped by Spring Valley for some fishing. And we did not go home empty handed this time. We ate a lovely trout dinner. It was a relaxing weekend.

William's new trick...

William can clap! This a very short video because every time I get the camera and try to film him clapping he gets distracted and tries to grab at the camera. Oh well, it gives you an idea of how cute he is.
