It's Official: The Boys Will Always Be Out Numbered

If you couldn't tell by the title, we are having a GIRL!

We are excited, but we were all caught off guard when the ultrasound revealed it was a Girl. We all had thought for sure we would have a boy and even things out in our house, once and for all. We even had a name picked out for our boy, Beckham Gage, but it is back to the drawing board. Kelton was the most disappointed, and responded on the announcement with, "Ah...Man!?!" However, he has since come to terms with it and Ayden is just plain excited for another sister. Dad was also a little caught off guard, as he was the most certain it was a boy, but has decided a Father can never be surrounded by too many daughters.

Chris and I have both felt so strongly that we need to have this child, even though neither of us anticipated having another. Heavenly Father blesses us in mysterious ways and we are both excited to see what adventures this little girl will bring.

Family Pictures

We didn't have the best of luck with family pictures while in CA. The first night we tried we got washed to shore and the second time we tried I had to wake Kambrie up after a 20 minute nap and Addison seemed to forget how to smile. But I love the picture of of the boys!

One of a Kind

Sunday I called Ayden in to clean up and get jammies on for bed. While we were all cleaning we noticed Ayden had yet to help out (not that that is unusual). I looked out the window to see him practicing soccer again. Again I call to him to come inside. He comes in smiling as if he is very proud of himself then tells me, "You know how I got outside? I sneeked out the basement window."
This morning after dropping the kids off at school Ayden quickly goes inside and locks the door while I was getting the girls out of the car. We knocked and tried opening it but he wasn't going to open the door. Luckily I had my keys and got in through the front door. He came up the stairs laughing so hard. He thought he was so funny and he was since I still had a way inside.

Chris Wingert

This evening the kids had the opportunity to meet Chris Wingert from the Salt Lake Real team. He did a soccer clinic along with some coaches and then they did soccer crafts and had pizza. The kids had a blast. Kelton was the star and made a point of telling me he was the best at the sharks and minos game, Saige was skeptical about coming along but ended up getting into it and doing a great job. Ayden had a rough start when Kelton kicked the ball and Ayden walked by at the wrong time taking a blow to the head, luckily he recovered and had a great time. Addison claimed he pink ball at the beginning and was so excited every time she made a goal, and I couldn't keep Kambrie off the field. They all came home with there own post card signed by him and a ball to share that he autographed as well.

Thanks C.R. for organizing everything and to those who help make these events possible.

Believe It or Not

I'm not sure about your homes at dinner time but at ours there is always someone complaining and refusing to eat. However tonight was a rare occasion and worth a short post, we all ate the same dinner last night and enjoyed it. Thanks Leish
