It's official...

I'm closed for vacation!

The last of the orders are heading out to the post office this afternoon :)

I will still be answering convos and e-mails. But most of my time will be spent relaxing with my kiddies, and my honey!

Okay well, not to toot my own horn or anything but I'm in a bit of shock over how many pieces of jewelry these little hands have created over the last week and half!

Not only did I get myself caught back up by Monday, but between Monday and today I have shipped all orders that came in over the month of June! WOW!!

I'm soooooooooo ready for vacation! The kiddies and I are heading out to Colorado for a week and a half. Daddy can't come because of work :( but the kids and I have some fun plans set.

and yes I am driving with 6 kiddies all on my own. I've done it many times so I'm not afraid (for some reason people keep asking me that?)

Really how did our parents ever survive road trips before the invention of the portable DVD player?

I'm spending today catching up on convos before I set the shop to vacation mode. This weekend we are going to get the van ready for the trip and clean the house (boy does it need cleaning!)

Monday Rob and I get to sneak off for a date :)

I'll be giving sneak peeks of some of the new designs that will be listed when I reopen on August 6th

I love this ring! It features a little ruby set in the center of a silver flower. The inside of the band is stamped with "grow in love".

I will be offering these as a custom design so you can choose your gem stone from what I have in stock, as well as choose what to stamp on the inside of the band!

I've had TONS of requests for rings that can be stamped on the inside rather than the outside of the band so those will make it into my shop this August.

This is just a pretty little stone that I set in a simple design. I love the pale green color, so serene

WE ARE FINALLY CAUGHT UP! WHEW!!! It was a long haul to get back on track with orders but I finally caught completely back up.

I will be closing for vacation soon so all orders placed by today 6/22 will be shipping on Friday!!

Now that I'm caught back up I didn't feel guilty taking a couple of nights to play...

and a little time to relax on our new sofas

and a couple of hours to make a few new designs...

The bracelet is up in my shop now and the necklace is one of several new designs that will be for sale when I reopen in August!!

givin' away something new....

I made these little cutties as a b -day gift for a good friend.

They are little bitty dog tags. I cut the design for the top of each free hand so they all come out a bit different.

I made a cross, a clover, a fleur di lis, and the little heart (the heart isn't new but she's so cute I had to include her). Each one comes out a little different so they are all one of a kind. I think I'll make a little butterfly next.

I received a sweet thank you note from a customer that included a hand made card from her little girl...melt my heart! Thank you Shannon and sweet miss J! :)

One of my new stamps arrived today!! I have a thing for winged hearts. They are so whimsical and dreamy! I hand drew this sweet little heart. She will be up in my shop late tonight.

A pretty new pair of earrings. I have over 100 pairs that I've made...when I close in July I plan to snap tons of photos, so when I re open in August you will be sure to find new pretties a plenty!

Almost...

That feels like my mantra these days! I feel like the little engine that could....almost done almost done almost done....

We had such a huge surge in orders in May, a month where Murphy's Law seemed to lurk around every corner, so our normal wait time of 2-3 weeks turned into 3-5 weeks.

The good news is my assistant and wonderful friend Monica has really gotten the hang of things and business is running much more smoothly.

After copious amounts of coffee and diet coke and a few all nighters (literally, I can't remember the last time I saw so many 5 am sunrises) I am on the verge of being all caught up and able to breath, and just in time, as tomorrow is the last day of School for the kiddies, but not my hubby he still has another week.

I finally got one new listing posted! You can see it here it is just perfect for summer!

I just love the stone on this one...Gorgeous!!!

So that all said...there is a big giveaway over on The Bright Side Project starting tomorrow for a gift card to my shop, and another big giveaway next week over on MADE.

Once those are both done I will be closing for a full month to spend a much needed break with the kids, playing in the sprinkler, and eating watermelon and tending to our veggie garden.
