I am off to frolic through the gorgeous green forest of Colorado.
I plan to Re-open on July 26th.

Our little gal is 3! We had a rough start that first year, she was so tiny and not growing. Now out Meggie is a spunky vibrant little girl! She loves to dance and be silly and play barbies with sissy.

Oh and she LOVES watermelon!

I got this gorgeous tutu from Dana of tutumonkey. She was so cute dancing around the living room singing "it's my birthday, it's my party!"

LAST DAY TO SHOP!!!!!

Well our vacation plans have changed! My hubby got a call on Friday that his summer school class was cut . We've had to rearrange our plans and cut our trip to see family short as his teaching summer school was our summer income.

School's Out!!!

Today was Kaiya's last day of grade school...sniff, my little girl is growing up. Or as daddy put it, "she's not my princess any more, she's a young lady" I think I saw a little hint of tears there too.




She received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. Way to go Kaiya we are so proud!!

Looking for Camera Advice....

So I'm finally ready for a grown up camera ;o)...

I love our point and shot camera, it takes fantastic close up pics for my jewelry, but I've wanted to get a camera to take more artistic pictures, especially of the kids.

That said I'm totally in the dark on what to get. True to my nature I'm going to learn as I go.

I've heard the Nikon D40 is great, but some swear by a Canon.... What do you think, what's your favorite? Positives negatives?

Please keep in mind with your advice that I don't have a limitless budget!

So Excited!

I am so very excited to be able to offer a new range of designs!

I've been just dying to start sawing my own shapes from sheet silver, and now that my work bench is heading down the high way to me I can finally unveil the first of many newbies! YAY!



This will be the first in my line of id bracelets....

The focal has a lovely design of squares and a star solder to it , leaving room for your loved ones names or words special to your heart. The chain is hand made be me by fusing wire, shaping it, forging it, and polishing it. This beauty is a bit pricier, but I will soon have one with a prefabricated chain that will less. There will be other designs to come soon...hearts flowers and more!

Where oh Where do the years go?

Our Gabriel is almost finished with Kindergarten! Instead of doing a graduation ceremony our schools tradition is to have the kids perform a luau. We love it! Both Kaiya and Thomas did the luau so it was so fun to see Gabriel perform and reminisce. They grow so fast.

Mary Mary quite contrary....

This is how my garden grows :O)

Our veggie garden has been in the works for three years now, and finally we are done!!!

We have a box planter that runs along the whole back fence. We decided it was a good place to start our veggie garden, and so did the gophers! We lost our whole crop the first year.

So with the wise advice from my parents, we (we being my honey) dug out all of the dirt, 70 feet long, to line the bottom with Chicken wire. This was last year, half way through he tore his knee playing soccer, I was pregnant so the garden was back on hold.

Finally last night we were able to fill in the last of the dirt. Thank you honey :O)

We planted corn, yellow crook neck squash, zucchini, acorn squash, butternut squash, cantaloupe, honey dew, celery, carrots, bell peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, eggplant, watermelon, and pumpkins! I also planted a dwarf orange tree in a big pot and in a couple of smaller ones, I planted tomatoes, strawberries, and sweet peas, Whew! In the last bit of space we are planning to try growing potatoes. Thanks for the advice with those Dana!

I can't wait to start enjoying them.
