I've been tagged Today I was tagged by the talented Susie to take part in a fun little blog tag. Here is the instructions: 1. Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures. 2. Go to the 6th Folder, then pick the 6th picture in that folder. 3. my pic is from my brother Daves birthday party. as you can see lots of music and beverages!
we have Dave L, Gary (my df) Todd, and Pat playing guitars and Dana playing his banjo..we call him ban jovi LOL. off the pic we had Roger on base and I think I remener Bill banging away on something for drums. Lots of fun was had by all.

chocolate card

this is the first card I made with it. I know I posted it already at the stamp shack
but it was out of the gallery so fast, I thought I'd post it here too. plus one can never have too much chocolate!

bikini snow woman card

some friends f mine jsut came home from a vacation in Aruba, and I wanted a welcome back to the frozen land on Maine card for Beth. This is what i came up with . The snowman is from clear dollar stamps and the tropical drink it TAC. I hand made the bikini and the top is pop dotted on...Beth likes to wear the padded bikini tops, so this is cracking me up. hmmm maybe she will think twice about going on vacation without me again! lol

Sunday and into Monday we got snow snow snow. yup we got 18 inches dumped on us. This is a pic of my back yard, you may not be able to tell how deep the snow is, but aren't the pine trees pretty?

happy birthday

I love pink/brown together and I made this card today with that combo. the stamp is so many scallops by stampin up! I used pink & brown stickles for some bling it had to have bling.

this ice cream atc is for a favorite desserts atc swap. well ice cream is my weakness. so I knew I had to ink up this Danami designs stamp and make ice cream atc's.

warm wishes

I made this acrd today in honor of our heat wave here in Maine today, it's a balmy 28 degrees!! it's been single digits and it's going to get freezing again tomorrow. so I though a snowman sending warm wished would be nice.

kitty love

everyday I make time to lay on the bed on my tummy because Zack loves to lay under my chest and be petted..he purrs and purrs and is so sweet..he butts his head on my chin and loves loud smooches. Well now that we have Ziggy, he wants in on the action too. he starts out laying on my back while Zack is under my chin, but soon enough he will move to try and lay up against Zack and get his head scratched too. Df caught us today and snapped a pic. Kitty love is so precious.

my first mangolia card

I hope the magnolia stamp police do not come and arrest me, but I HAD to draw a mouth on her. it kinda freaks me out that they have no mouths. They are super cute though, so I just drew one on, problem solved.I used a few different stamp companys on this puppy. the Magnolia stamp of course, and also a CTMH, Hanna stamp, and the presents and saying are by scrappy cat. I really gave my stamp stash a work out on this one, lol.

butterfly birthday

my friend Suzi Q has a birthday tomorrow. She LOVES butterflies, always has, so..this is the birthday card I made for her. I saw a card very similar to this at SCS and knew this was the perfect card for suzi. stamps are TAC and studio G colored with mu copic markers and prisma markers and a little stickles, too.

a wise man once said...

I made this atc for a humourous atc swap at the stamp shack. I have had this funny little $ set of stamps for a while now and just knew I'd find the right time to break it out. I used my bic mark it markers to color with and added stickles to the flower center and in a row at the bottom.

my order from Amuse came today!

yup,, my goodies from Santa are starting to trickle in. I got these cute elzybells and the other stamps set from Amuse. Of course I had to ink at least one of them right up and make a card.

sympathy cards for work

I sell my cards at work, and there was a note left for me that I needed more sympathy cards, so today I made these. I'll tell ya something,,sympathy cards are much easier to make when you don't need one! these came to me really easy, and when I have needed one...I've struggled with it. So, note to myself..keep some made up!
