Baby goats

Our last trip to Idaho sort of made Dan and I want to get some baby goats. These kids were so cute, they kept climbing in and out of the trough. We saw baby ducks and baby chickens too. McKee's pet shop in Chubbuck has a fun "petting zoo", really you just walk around and look at the animals but the girls really loved it. Jade would walk right up to the fence and try to poke the goats in the eye.

Here's a picture of Jade riding forward-facing for the first time in her car seat. She was so excited it seemed.
Stefanie and I took Jade and Rylee to the play area in the mall and they really had a blast, jade was crawling through all the tunnels and sliding down the slide, except, she likes to linger at the bottom of the slide so I always have to move her so she doesn't get pummeled by some other kid.
Grandma Lou, reading bedtime stories to Jade and Rylee (who are wearing matching jammies).

The Aquarium

My family and I decided to plan a family get-together before we move so we thought we'd go to the zoo, but when we found out it was going to be freezing we changed our minds and went with the aquarium.
My younger brothers love to help out with Jade, they wanted to help her walk all around and see everything.

She's a walker now.

Jade is walking so much better now and I thought everyone would get a kick out of this cute video we took today while wondering around the mall.

Chocolate dipped snacks

Yesterday morning I put on a cartoon for Jade and figured I'd take a quick bath. I know you're thinking "bath? who takes baths anymore?", well I love them and figured I could hear Jade better if she started crying. Anyway, Jade wandered into the bathroom while I was washing my face and all of a sudden I heard a splash. Jade totally got into the bath, fully clothed. I laughed so hard; she was laughing and splashing.

We had some chocolate left over from fondue night so I figured Jade and I could have a chocolaty snack, we dipped pretzels and oranges into the chocolate. It was so delicious!

The picture below is of Jade signing 'more'. She's really learned quite a few signs. She can sign milk, more, baby, and potty, although, I'm sure she doesn't actually know what potty is yet.
