UnforgettableHospital Attachment

Day One
Date: 21-3-2011
Venue: Seremban Tunku Jaafar Hospital
Group mates: syshyuan, khaixin, yong jing, yit koay, phooi ling, faiz, shi hui, lulu, kohila, tyi ying, sze wei, pui mun, shi ying, chee hong, hui meng, liqun.

Yong Jing printed out the McD voucher and we were actually planning to have our breakfast there, too bad we missed a turn, ended up a breakfast at imu clinical school.

Fried rice+sunny side up and cost only 2 bucks!

Syshyuan and i paired up and we've been assigned with a case about a cellulitis female patient.
Okay, i greeted the patient and asked her the reason that she admitted to hospital.
The patient was soft and i could hardly hear her : "blah blah blah, chlorox blah blah". Oh, probably the cellulitis was due to chlorox allergy. No?

She repeated : saya minum chlorox, kamu tau itu cuci kain punya?
No skin problem no cellulitis, not taking medications. I was clerking a case of a girl who failed suicide attempt?how am i suppose to write a pharmaceutical plan for her?Something must have gone terribly wrong. I quickly ended my conversation with her, and looked for the lecturer.
Blame them for telling us the wrong ward, sigh.

Honestly speaking, we were invisible for those doctors and nurses, provided that we did not make something stupid. And that was how we ended the first day of attachment.

**Special thanks to CY and his dad for leading the way ahead to our hotel**
***Seremban has no 3G services miserably***

Day Two
Date: 22-3-2011
Venue: same wards
The two patients that we clerk yesterday already discharged, there was no need to follow up and what we had to do was just strolling along the ward and flipping patients' profiles. Ended day two.

After the two days attachment, i've came out with a conclusion, doctors' hand writings are sucks ! lousy ! What is the meaning of writing something out which nobody on Earth understands it?

Their hand writings can lead to 4 major disasters:
  1. Wrong drugs given to the patient.
  2. Wrong doses given to the patient.
  3. Other healthcare providers might need time to decode their hand writing, consequently it delays treatments.
  4. Causes nausea and vomiting on trainees.
Dear doctors,
If you want others to be less critical of you, then you must be considerate of the feelings of others.
