DEI!

LIM LI YEN
Quickly, get on the plane and hurry back.

And, what would you like for your 21st?
From your blog post, it seems like all your friends in ozzie bought you the entire Parkson.
Maybe we should thicken our hides and do what some people do..
You know, start putting up lists of what people can get us for our birthdays.

A picture of my dashing coconut cream pie and his oyster sauce.

TERMS OF ENDEARMENT.

So the past 2 weeks passed by in a blur.
I just came home to KL yesterday.

There was the Newater plant visit with some other Kent-Ridgeans.
It was really an eye-opener to see how waste and sewage can be transformed into water for direct non-potable use and for indirect potable use. Did you know that Singaporeans use water up to the amount of 600-olympic-sized swimming pools per day (i think)?

And then there was BIZAD FOC.
The Best OG went out to Boran.
What say, you say, I say.

More on that in the next post.

On a random note, what do you think of terms of endearments?
The boyfriend and I have been trying,
but nothing seems to have caught our fancy.
I really like coconut cream pie, but he's against it.
Cupcakes with cherries on top was also met with a cold stare.

In the spirit of alliteration, i suggested crunchy chapathi with curry chicken, but to no avail.
Yes i know chapathis aren't crunchy.
Alliteration, can.

Maybe it's the boy, and not me.
I mean, terms of endearment are usually based on food, no?
Honey.
Sweetie.
Coconut cream pie.

In line with honey, we also experimented with maple syrup.
It didn't have the local ring to it, so we threw out oyster sauce.
Mmmm, nice. Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce?
Once again, I got the look.
Ookay, so maybe not.
Creative juices, anyone?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WHY AM I STILL BILLED FOR INSURANCE WHEN I ALREADY WAIVERED IT THREEE TIMES!?!

WHY AM I BILLED FOR NEW CHARGES WHEN I MADE SURE I SETTLED ALL MY OUTSTANDING BILLS THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT THE UNIED STATES?!!? WHAT NEW CHARGES?!?!

When i went to demand for the $1468.00 (US!!) insurance bill to be removed from my account FOR THE THIRD TIME because i already waivered it twice, the lady got up from her chair and started rooting around for my waiver form.
Yes, she found the form.
Underneath stacks of paper.
The form dated 17th of January.
Still unprocessed. Still unwaivered.
when I went to her on like.. the 26th of May.
WTH! WHY IS IT STILL UNPROCESSED NOW?!
AND WHY AM I CHARGED FOR THE THIRD TIME?!
NOW I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO CALL AND EXPLAIN.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

WHAT NEW CHARGES?!!!
I'VE ALREADY LEFT THE STATES!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
This is not good for my blood pressure.
STUPID STUDENT INSURANCE OFFICE.
STUPID STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFICE.

this sucks.

I'm super pissed.

YO.

Omygoshness I have to be like the slackest and most-boring blogger in town.

I don't update my blog every day. Maybe I should blog about every little thing that happens to me. Ooooh.

I've never whispered a tiny breathe about the WorldCup on my blog. Yes, sweaty footballers paint a pretty picture etcetc. Go to SRC every weekend la, I hear the NUS students play a mean game of footie, and they sweat buckets full in humid the Singapore weather. Or the community soccer field near you? At least they play during reasonable hours of the day.
By the way, stewpid plastic kangaroos. ROAR.
I wanted the boys in blue to win.

I don't take the effort consolidate all my pictures together and photoshop them to remove all my blemishes and make myself 3 times fairer.
Jerry Phua ZhengHaooo, please teach me how to photoshop before you go for exchange! I wanna learn how to put a small picture of myself in a mini-skirt and act-cute pose on the corner of all my edited pictures.

I don't put into words all my actions, criticisms feelings and emotions. Sorry everybardee, no sob-drama stories about the gripping life I lead here. Watch TV la. More exciting. And they have timely, sad, sappy music to accompany sobbing, heart-breaking scenes. And let's face it, the leading actress is much better-looking. Plus, my ma reads my blog =D
She's quite hip can.
When i turned up the volume to Hips Don't Lie, she (my mom, not Shakira) conversationally said, "Hmm, I like this Shakira. Do you know she belly-dances very well?" 0_O

I'm not employed these holidays so I can't complain about how little pay I'm making, but how I seem to be spending it all away.
Yes, pay sucks. SIGH. The work sucks even more. DOUBLE SIGH.
Get over it =D Stop working la and enjoy the holidays before it all ends and we have to face the hardship of exams and stress again.

I don't whine online about all the fats on my body, how determined I am to go on a diet, but how disgusting of me to ruin everything and have a chocolate brownie from Secret Recipie at 10pm.
By the way, YUM. Thanks for the brownie, rie.

I don't curse like a sailor. I can't. PAW. PAReading.

PRESENTING JAMIE LIM ZHIHAO.

I think maybe no one else wanted us.

Hurhur.

ALLO?

I have been neglecting this blog.
You dropped by to visit! *beams happily* There was only 1/1000 of a chance I would have updated this blog, but you came anyways. If you'd like to hear me out, there's a perfectly reasonable good excuse reason why this blog has been stagnant for a while now, besides me being too lazy to blog =D

Yes, yes I have no internship.
Yes, yes I have no orientation camp planning commitments.
Yes, yes I do not DOTA.
(Am i the only girl who doesn't play computer games by the way).
I mentioned about my 12-year old DOTA and Warcraft-playing cousin?
*shudder* whatever happened to less violent playtime games like five stones and zero point? Yeah, there used to be a biiit of politics involved in zero point (girls making pacts to place palms down when dividing into the two teams). OHH. so that's how the better girls got to be in the same group ALL the time and we.. okaynevermind.

I digressed.
My perfectly good reason is that the only people who read my blog, or so i thought were my mom, sister, best friend and boyfriend, and I have been keeping them constantly updated since I've been back. Also, I haven't been going anywhere much lately, so there's really not much to update in the blog, that I can't update them personally. But the boyfriend says there are people from BIZAD and KR who do drop by ocassionally!

*Beams happily oncee again*

Hello KELCHOO and KIAN SENG and ROSIE and CHRIS!
*waves retardedly and frantically nods elegantly and sophisticatedly*

Kelchoo: How are the FWOC preparations coming along? =) Are you forcing the innocent young ones out of bed before the sun rises and torturing them with early morning PTs? Good good, keep it up =D Such a joyous tradition must only be spread along. But it's still 2 months away AHHHHH.
A little closer to home, and sooner is the Bizad camp!

Kian Seng, Rosie and Chris!: HELLO! How's FOC coming alongs! Can'twaitcan'twaitcan'twait! Boran's gonna rawk, cause I heard who the councillors were, and they're really great! Of course whether or not an OG makes it largely depends on the freshies as well, but they're soon-to-be BIZADERS leh =D

Have you ever head of people labeling their boyfriends as "the boyfriend"? Quite farnie, as if they have no other statuses in life and no other reason for existence other than just to be 'the boyfriend'. Perhaps i should start addressing Jamie as 'the boyfriend' from now on. Nyahahaa =D

Life at home in KL has been nice, and the food's been real oily and fattening.
Hanging out with the family has been fun too.
We (bro, sis, aunt) went to Penang for the weekend to see my aunt's new house, and we got back last night. Omgoshness, it's superly beeeg and the tiles are all shiny, and the walls are so white, and the paintings are all so expensive. I wanna make it beeg too and be wealthy enough to get and design my own place when I grow up! Dark-wooden floors, high-ceiling airy rooms with white linen curtains that frame the ceiling-to-floor glass windows and palm trees against a blue sky backdrop outside ahhhh! okaywakeup.

Will be heading down to Singapore on the 8th of June, and coming back up on the 10th of June. Then will be heading down again on the 14th of June and back up on the 24th of June. It sounds like a lot of travelling, but it's not that bad really. The coach is really comfortable and you can just sleep all the way from Kl to Johor, which is about 3 1/2 hours to 4.
