WHERE ART THOU, CREATIVES JUICES?
Depressed.
Have been working on the mgmt case write-up for nearly three hours now, and the creative juices have yet to flow. The first page (meant to be some kind of summary - the easiest!) took me freaking 2 hours or so. I have 4 more pages to go by tomorrow morning so i can email it in for opinions. How cannnnnn??
And for fun, i checked out my cousin's blog because she advertised it on her MSN nick. My 13-year old cousin is freaking 5 inches taller than me and her blog is like.. wth!?
MY 13-YEAR OLD COUSIN'S BLOG IS DAMN NICE LA CAN!!
To me anyway.
It has a customized background, her links to other blogs are pictures of them, and it has music! Yes i'm that new to blogging that something quite as simple as music on the blog page thrills the crap out of me.
But the point is, she's 13!! And she's been playing games such as warcraft for a couple of years now. WARCRAFT?!?
I didn't even know how to use Microsoft Word when i was 11.
When my little computer group project friend asked me to save the word file we were working on, i was like err.. hah? Say again?
It took Li Yen 5 years to successfully teach me Minesweeper. WARCRAFT?!
Either she's a brilliant 13-yr old, or I'm a stewpid 19 yr old.
I have an odd feeling it's the latter.
As if being 5 inches shorter is not enough.
Oh, and what must it be like to be able to bull as much sh!t as XX.
I doubt she'll have problems working on academic papers. Really.
Such capabilities. I applaud.
Because see, when you don't need it, you can just keep it in. When you do need it, all you have to do is open the gates and they'll come gushing out, in shards, in chunks, in waterfalls full. And if subtly altered, the words will fall beautifully like rain and a magical, super-creative paper will be successfully churned out. Just like that.
Instead of one measly page churned out every three hours. Which if you do not know by now at this stage of your university life, is BAD. If you want to get it done the next day and it's already 12am, it's REALLY BAD.
Going through a writer's block is such a traumatizing experience.
It taunts the mind and and haunts the prospect of future papers.
It hurts.
I'll be going to sleep now, in a desperate attempt to rid the block, and wake up at three to try again. I really hope I can wake up, because if i can't, tomorrow's going to be a bad day =) okbye.
