WHERE ART THOU, CREATIVES JUICES?

Depressed.
Have been working on the mgmt case write-up for nearly three hours now, and the creative juices have yet to flow. The first page (meant to be some kind of summary - the easiest!) took me freaking 2 hours or so. I have 4 more pages to go by tomorrow morning so i can email it in for opinions. How cannnnnn??

And for fun, i checked out my cousin's blog because she advertised it on her MSN nick. My 13-year old cousin is freaking 5 inches taller than me and her blog is like.. wth!?
MY 13-YEAR OLD COUSIN'S BLOG IS DAMN NICE LA CAN!!
To me anyway.
It has a customized background, her links to other blogs are pictures of them, and it has music! Yes i'm that new to blogging that something quite as simple as music on the blog page thrills the crap out of me.

But the point is, she's 13!! And she's been playing games such as warcraft for a couple of years now. WARCRAFT?!?
I didn't even know how to use Microsoft Word when i was 11.
When my little computer group project friend asked me to save the word file we were working on, i was like err.. hah? Say again?
It took Li Yen 5 years to successfully teach me Minesweeper. WARCRAFT?!
Either she's a brilliant 13-yr old, or I'm a stewpid 19 yr old.
I have an odd feeling it's the latter.
As if being 5 inches shorter is not enough.

Oh, and what must it be like to be able to bull as much sh!t as XX.
I doubt she'll have problems working on academic papers. Really.
Such capabilities. I applaud.
Because see, when you don't need it, you can just keep it in. When you do need it, all you have to do is open the gates and they'll come gushing out, in shards, in chunks, in waterfalls full. And if subtly altered, the words will fall beautifully like rain and a magical, super-creative paper will be successfully churned out. Just like that.
Instead of one measly page churned out every three hours. Which if you do not know by now at this stage of your university life, is BAD. If you want to get it done the next day and it's already 12am, it's REALLY BAD.

Going through a writer's block is such a traumatizing experience.
It taunts the mind and and haunts the prospect of future papers.
It hurts.

I'll be going to sleep now, in a desperate attempt to rid the block, and wake up at three to try again. I really hope I can wake up, because if i can't, tomorrow's going to be a bad day =) okbye.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Happy Chinese New Year 2006!
What a great day to start a blog - on the first day of a New Year.
May this blog live a long, nice auspicious life.

For the few that know and the many that probably don't, I'm currently on exhange to the States now, at the University of Pennsylvania. That's in Philadelphia, in the state of Pennsylvania which shares borders with the likes of New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and it's not too far away from Boston. I've been here since Jan 3rd, and my final paper will be on the 5th of May. I'm taking 2 business modules, 1 language and 2 Arts modules. That's Gao Lu, Yu Qing, me, student tour guide and Hanna.

School's pretty competitive here, albeit the many on-going activities and parties. Everyone plays hard and works even harder, which is superbly impressive. We've visited Princeton University in New Jersey, and Washington DC thus far. Upcoming plans include trips to Florida, Chicago, New York and Boston =D Thank you Gao Lu, Wendy, Sharon and YuQing for everything since day1. And to everyone back home who've in one way or another kept in contact and helped me settle down, words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you.

Deadlines for the week ahead: Spanish test on Monday, 2 papers due on Tuesday, a weekly response paper for Jap due on Friday, and a freaking 259-paged novel for Sociology. WHYYYYYY.
Then it's New York, 3-5 Feb! =D

Sidenote: Pictures and blogs may not coincide with actual dates of events because I lack a camera cable. Thank god Wendy uses the same camera.

STEPH BLOGS?

hahha.. apparently, she does.
For now, she supposes.

Read some blogs for a while now + i must first post my disclaimer:
I cannot promise witty funny remarks, pictures that dazzle and a good read everytime. Why?
Cause what i find interesting may not humour you.
More importantly, what you find interesting, i may not. hurhur.

A blog, the product of someone's brilliant mind was probably initially meant to be an electronic diary (diary read: private and confidential). As time lapsed, like everything else, it became commercialized and public, and this is why even stephanie ng keeps one.
I therefore cannot promise sad sob stories that might make you secretly hunger to hear more about because they're meant to be private. I cannot promise my true inner-most self and all my daily happenings beause sometimes, words are just not enough. I cannot promise to update it just in time before the next time YOU check it out because so what if i'm lazy that day and you're too free.
I didn't create this blog for you.
I created it for me =)
