Twoo Wub
I think today was the first time ever that my son said, "I wub you" completely unprovoked. He just said, "I wub you, Mom, you make my heart happy and I wub Daddy, too". Oh, I am just so emotional right now. And he gave me a hug and a kiss. Wow. It really is the simple things that make it all worth while. I love my little ones so much. What an incredible thing to be a mother. It is always the ones you serve that you love the most. The things that are the hardest are the most rewarding- even with something as simple as an "I wub you". I wub you, too, E.
Hooked on the Classics

When my future sis-in-law, Steph, was here she played the most beautiful music on the piano that made me cry. I realized that I miss the classics in my life. I miss the piano and the incredible feeling of a beautiful melody, and my kids were missing it, too. Then I remembered that I bought an old family favorite a few years ago and forgot I had it! It's called "Hooked on the Classics" by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra- I think they put these together in the 80's. Me and my bros and sis's used to dance in circles around my living room growing up, for hours and hours! It's classical music compiled and put to a little beat so the kids can dance and also become familiar with the classics! It has been so fun all morning! I recommend getting this for your kids! It's fun. Here's a link:

Does anyone know of any other good CD's that are just the pure Classical music? I really want to have some real Classical music in my home. Thanks!

Lorel!

My sis is here visiting for the week with her sweet little baby girl and we are having a blast! I have been showing her all of the fun things to do and eat (of course) here and it has been the best! But we are so exhausted by the end of every day- so are our kids! I am so lucky to have such amazing sisters! My other sis, Cora, and her family arrive late tomorrow night. So we'll have 7 kids under the age of 8 under our roof. Should be exciting... :)
Dave was amazing and watched the kids this morning so that Lorel and I could go to the temple. She lives 2+ hours away from the DC temple, and we live 6 minutes away from ours- so she really wanted to take advantage of being so close. It was so wonderful to be there with my sister.
I love my little niece! She is only 6 months older than Rose, but SO much more advanced. She can walk around and understand everything that you say to her. She is so sweet! We do have Rose doing a little sign language and that's been helpful. The most helpful has been "AAA DA!" (all done) and she'll put her arms up over her head, instead of throwing her food everywhere. That's been nice.
