Ebay's new sense of humor.

We knew that at some point, E would be a silly boy. He is mostly just a happy, but opinionated and easily frustrated little one. But with parent's like me and Clark we knew that one day he would start to try to be funny! Well, we were in the car the other day and Ebay just noticed for the first time that his fruit snacks were shapes... not just any shapes, but Dora! He LOVES "Dora the Explorer"! So he pointed out in excitement, "Mommy, wook, Dora!" I was surprised that he'd never noticed before, so I thought that was pretty cute. Then I noticed that he wasn't eating it, he was looking at it tentitively for a while. I said, "Go ahead, bud, you can eat it." He looked at me confused, looked down at his Dora fruit snack again, then stuck it in his mouth fast with a huge chomping sound and said, eyes wide, "Oh no! Dora!" Then he started laughing! It was pretty awesome!

Lils is 5!

Wow, I can't believe that Lils is 5! All day long she just wanted to watch our family DVD's of her being born and as a newborn baby. She loves watching those whenever she gets a chance. She is just fascinated by babies! She asked me yesterday "how did your baby get in your tummy, mommy?".... uhhhhh.... it's a little too early for that one, so Clark answered quickly with "because Heavenly Father gave the baby to us!" Phew! Nice save! She is so excited to have a little sister! Whenever she sees me, she'll give my tummy a kiss or hug and say "did the baby feel that?" She is going to be a great big sister.

Lils' birthday was Feb 27th, and we had her party at the mall playground area! It turned out great! We were going to have a cook-out at the park, but it just so happened that Lils' birthday fell on the coldest day of the week and it was 45 degrees outside that day! So we had cake, made "magic wands" (out of pirouette chocolate sticks dipped in frosting and covered with sprinkles), made princess tiaras, played at the playground, and opened presents! Lils was able to invite her 6 favorite friends and her cousins came too! She was so excited that Jake, Luke, and Max were there! She is very into mermaids, fairy godmothers and unicorns. I LOVE that she's still my sweet little girl and I plan on keeping her this way as long as possible because I know it won't last! Pretty soon it'll be "Hannah Montana" and teenie bopper stuff! Though the two gifts she wanted more than anything for her birthday were make-up and perfume! Oh well!
