ME: Did Mommy's page get lost?
SOPHIE (while flipping through the pages): No it's still in the book.

The boys were supposed to be cleaning their bathroom. I called up to see how they were doing.
ME: Hey boys! Are you guys all done cleaning your bathroom?
ANDREW: Well, I forgot what we were supposed to be doing in the bathroom and I thought we were supposed to take showers, so I took off all my clothes.
ME: You did?
ANDREW: Then Ethan told me.
ME: OK. Well get your clothes back on and start cleaning.

How we roll in Indiana
With wind chill it's zero degrees out today.
When the kids came home from school yesterday they headed straight outside to enjoy the weather: sledding on the ice covered driveway, making snow angels in the grass, watching their sleds blow away in the 60mph gusts, etc., etc.
Emma stayed outside playing for two hours. Before we knew it she had attracted a handful of other crazy kids.

(See the swings and snow blowing in the wind? Ay caramba.)
They eventually came inside and Ginger made them all hot chocolate.

SOPHIE: An ornament fell off the Christmas tree.
ME: Oh really? Did you put it back on?
SOPHIE: I didn't knock it off. I didn't. I really didn't. I didn't knock it off... I know who did! IT WAS ETHAN.

Six years old!
Emma turned six last weekend. The highlight of her birthday, besides having Bamma, Pa and Joojie there, was the sewing machine she opened. She is making a quilt, and has been telling everyone that she can sew.
She had a pajama party with her friends last night. They watched a movie, played games, open presents and ate cupcakes. Happy birthday Emma!
