Halloween Picture

Here is this years Halloween picture. I hope to post more latter.

Andrea

Catch up

It is amazing to me that when I have the most to share I can't find a second to get online. We have had such a fun October Marshal had his first choir concert which he did a incredible job he had a solo part in one of the songs. I was very impressed.

We had several Halloween activities. School carnival, parties, Boo at the Zoo. The Youth did a carnival for all the primary age kids it was a great success but boy am I glad I do not have to prepare an activity like that every month.

I will send pictures latter but the kids costumes turned out so cute. I was so afraid of sewing charly's costume that I kept putting it off but after 2 days strait of sewing I finished it and still can't believe I sewed that (she was belle from beauty and the beast) She looked gorgeous. I made Kendall a candy corn costume she was adamant that she was going to be a candy corn heaven for bit she pick one of the many costumes that would fit her in my bin. Noelle was Snow White (thanks Noelle for picking a costume that was already made) and Marshal was white trash. The weather was so much warmer this year that once they started I never saw them again till 9:oo They had a wonderful Halloween

Witches

I thought it would be fun to take Kendall on a field trip. She has been missing her brother and sisters so much we needed an outing.

I thought the witches at Gardner village would be fun, Easton disagreed with me. I was holding both Kendall and Easton's hand as soon as he saw the first witch he did not want to get anywhere near it he tried to let go of my hand and run to his mom. After a little talking and coaxing he was alright with it.

They thought the witch on the bike riding high in the sky was pretty funny.

Kendall wants to go back she had a great time. The kids played on the grass and liked looking for fish in the water.

We had a good time thanks for coming on such short notice Colle.

Yeah We Started School

Last Monday the girls were finally back in school. Although the school is not a 100% complete its great to have them back in school. Kendall was a little bugged how long they were gone. She makes me laugh when they are all leaving for the day, she yells "have a great day kids and hurry home".

When I got to school to meet my new teacher I found out that I have a sub for a month. My real teacher just had a baby. My best friend is in my class. The cool new play ground is so much fun, the wood chips really aren't wood chips they just look like it but they are made out of rubber. weird
I was so tired from walking home. I thought it took forever, I miss the bus.
I am really glad to be back in school. Noelle
I could not wait for Monday morning to wear my new school clothes. I woke up at 5 a.m. (my mom was not to sure about that) My teacher is so cool, I really like her.
I think fourth grade ROCKS! so far.
I have met a bunch of new friends. Everyday i eat in New York. Just kidding we have a huge map of the United States painted on the play ground and I like to sit on New York so I can tell everyone I ate in New York. I can't wait for the lunch room to be done. I like home lunch but I really miss having enchiladas and stuff like that.

This year we are working on our times tables but I already know them so it is kinda fun to help my friends. I also get to learn all about Utah History this year that will be way cool. Chat Latter, Charly

As a mom it is so fun to watch your children tackle new experiences. I am proud of Noelle for taking first grade in strides. It is hard enough going full day but to then add a substitute for a month and not to have school lunch. (She is positive lunch is going to be so cool, which makes me very afraid.)

I think we are off (finally) to a great school year!

Elephant Parade

Today at lunch Nicolle and I took the kids and a few of there friends to see the elephant parade for the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus.

It was a beautiful day to be outside. The kids loved the clown noses and hats that they were handing out. The clowns were exciting and of course to see elephants cruising threw the city is pretty cool to.

Kendall thought it was so cool that people were riding the elephants.

Gretchen with her clown nose on.

I had so much fun today going to see the Elephants. I did not know we were going to do this today it was a big surprise to me. My mom says sometimes you just have to shoot from the hip. I did not get that at first but she said that sometimes life is fun when there is surprises along the way. I like that.

TWO WHEELS AT LAST!

After a whole summer of trying to teach Noelle how to ride a bike on two wheels she can finally do it. Saturday after a good half hour of her Dad running behind her she finally did it. Chuck was starting to get a little frustrated because the other two kids where riding a two wheeler by the age of 4 and 5, I keep reminding him that its alright I could not do it till I was 10 well maybe closer to 11. (That did not reassure him at all) I am a total spaz on a bike. I hate people to ride to close to me and Chuck and Marshal find it rather hilarious.

I love that I can now go on bike rides with Marshal and Charly and I don't have to sit in the bike trailer when the whole family goes. I love riding my bike. I also think my new helmet is so cool.

Noelle's Birthday

Happy Birthday Noelle

Noelle had such a wonderful birthday. We started the day with getting her ears pierced. She has been wanting her ears pierced for so long that she could hardly wait for the mall to open. She was very brave and just sat there with a big smile on her face. After the lady was done and she was picking out some earrings she told me that it hurt a lot more than everyone tells you.
Instead of a friend party she and her best friend went to lunch together. They picked Wendy's. They had a blast laughing and goofing off all during lunch.
We always take our kids out to dinner for there birthday. As you can see Noelle has High end taste (lol) She loves golden corral. I mean why wouldn't you when your favorite foods are mac and cheese and mash potato's.

After dinner the girls played at the park until Marshal was done with football.
Then we headed for Miniature golf. This was a little challenging for Noelle because they gave her the smallest club they had and it was still to big. The kids had a great time. Kendall had the lowest score thanks to Mom.
We then headed for home to open presents and have cake. Noelle received High School musical barbies from her Marshal and Kendall, that alone would of been enough she was ready to stop opening gifts and go play. Charly gave her a purse loaded with everything a little girl needs. And Chuck and I gave her a new bike helmet 2 singing High School musical dolls and enough pet shops for the whole

block. She had a really good day.
I can not believe she is 7. She is such a fun little girl that keeps everything moving just right. I love her little giggle. I love how different she is than my other children. She already knows who she is and what she stands for and watch out for the person that tries to tell her any different.
I love You and hope you had as much fun on your birthday as I did.

First day of dance

Yeah this day has finally come!! Kendall has been looking forward to taking dance since she could walk. She loves watching Charly and Noelle at dance. When class started she almost ran the other scared little girls over trying to be first in line. She is an absolute blast to watch. A definite upside to my week. She is a little to talk a tive she thinks she needs to tell her teacher everything that happened the day before.

The Last couple of weeks

The last couple of weeks I have done some really cool things. I started 7Th grade and I love it. It is so much better than elementary school and the lunches ROCK!! My favorite class is CTE and History. I have been playing football which of course is the bomb. We have only won 1 game but I have had a good time sacking a few quarterbacks. I got my first interception last week. I also got the Defensive MVP for my game last week. Just before school started my Mom and I stayed up all night watching an eclipse. That was really cool although I was so tired the next day. I love that my Mom would stay up and do things like this with me.

The fire station by our house had a scheduled burn on a house that was about 80 years old. It was so cool to watch My Dad and Mom and my sisters came with me to watch it. It was kinda weird to see all the firemen letting it burn. They kept water spraying on all the stuff surrounding it so only the house burned.
It has been a good couple of weeks, Chat with ya soon.

Nutcracker & Daddy Daughter

Last Saturday I tried out for ballet west Nutcracker. I was trying out for party girl. 106 girls where trying out. We had an hour to learn three dances, then we would be taken in groups of five to dance in front of the judges.I made it past the first cut where they cut 50 girls. Then they had us dance in front of the judges again I was doing really well until the last combination of the dance where I messed up. I knew I was going to be cut. I was the 35th girl and they only needed 32.

It was so weird to see all the girls crying. My mom said it was very nerve racking to watch each group come out. She said all the moms were crazy.

I liked trying out and it was a good experience. i am looking forward to next year to try out again.

Later that day was my daddy daughter date we had so much fun we made rockets and launched them. My rocket was awesome I think it went the highest. and of course the cutest. We had ice cream sundays it was so much fun.

Farewell to a Friend

Saturday August 18th 2007 one of my dearest friends past away. Kristin and I new each other when we were younger from 4H but we became inseparable in 7th grade when we became locker partners.

Kristin really new how to enjoy life. She always had a smile on her face we did everything together. I remember when she became a Student body officer in 9th grade she was determined to find something for me so that we would both get to go to the games and stuff together, next thing I knew I was called into the counselors office and was told I had been nominated to be the school mascot.

Kristin was an unbelievable talented person she would wake up every morning at 5:30 to practice the piano, she loved music. She would get so upset when she got an A- in fact I think she only ever got two. She was very smart and had a lot to give to the world.

This was on Choir tour in 1988.

Kristin gave everything she had to life. While on her mission she was diagnosed with MS but that never kept her down. She became the teacher she always wanted to be. she married had children and throughout it all handled every physical challenge with grace. She never questioned why me she just kept on going.

I am thankful to call her my friend. My prayers go out to her Husband and Children.

I Love You Kristin, You will be missed.

High School 2 Party

Friday night finally came and we had our High School musical 2 party. We had 10 friends come we started with dinner and then danced to the soundtrack.
This is my favorite shirt that I saved for the party it says High School Musical Rules.

My mom let me pick out all the treats we had so much food!!!!!
I give the show five stars I thought it was so good and the dancing was better than the first one. I like that Troy and Gabriella finally kissed at the end. I have watched it 7 times already. This is me with my best Friend.

If you like musicals I recommend you watch both High School Musical 1&2. I also suggest you get the sound track.

Noelle

I thought the movie was really good and I love that my mom lets us do fun things like this with our friends. I thought the golf scenes were really funny. My favorite song is the music in me. I loved all the dancing scenes. Noelle and I are really excited that they are making a third movie.

If you did not get a chance to see the movie call me I will watch it with you. If you don't have the disney channel we tivoed it.

High School Musical

I wanted to put something on our blog so my mom said I could put whatever I wanted and I want to tell about my favorite show. I Love High School Musical and can not wait until the new High School Musical 2 premiers on the 17th. My mom has showed us the High School where the show was recorded but the other day she let us stop and take pictures at it.
This is me and Charly in front of the School

Charly and I are going to have a party on premier night with our friends I am so excitied. We have all kinds of cool decorations and everything.
This cement thing is at the begining of the movie.

My Mom and Dad even let me get a High School musical backpack for school. My mom usually never lets us get bags with stuff on it so I was so happy.

Love, Noelle

Kendall turns 3

I am very behind on some of the goings on at our house. Normally I would just pick up where I am at and start over but I could not ignore Kendall's birthday.

It is hard to believe that my baby is 3. She had a wonderful birthday. All she has talked about since Christmas is that she wanted clothes for her bitty baby. When she woke up we had a birthday outfit with a birthday hat and it even came with a little purse that looked like a birthday cake for her doll she was on cloud nine.
Kendall was adamant about having a Dora cake I took her to the store and let her help pick it out. She thought the trick candles were the funniest thing ever she kept blowing and giggling.
I love this picture of Easton and Kendall.

We let Kendall plan her whole day. She had a picnic in the park with her brother and sisters and Easton. They had a ball we picked a park she has seen but never played at.

Before her party we took her to dinner she wanted corn dogs, fries and a rainbow. (not a hard girl to please) While we were gone I had Colle pick up the balloons and put them out on the back patio she was so excited when we got home and saw all the decorations.

She had a wonderful day. She is such a fun loving little girl with a smile that melts my heart. I am trying really hard to enjoy every adventure with her. I love to watch her with her siblings she has such a neat relationship with everyone of them.

We love you Kendall!

Lagoon

The past week or so has been a little crazy and I have gotten behind on my blog but we have done a few fun things that I am going to try and update.

The Saturday that Chuck, Marshal and I got home from Youth Conf. we showered and headed off to Lagoon (crazy I know) It was Chucks old works Lagoon day and they had invited us to go and who says know to free Lagoon day.
I was not to excited at first to spend the day at Lagoon. It felt weird to be going with only my little family I am use to taking my mom and dad and anyone else I can get to come with us. You know the more the merrier.

We had a great time Kendall could not get enough of bulgy the whale, she rode it eight times in a row no one else was on it and the ride would get over and the guy would make her get off get back in line and then give her the little spill about keeping her hands and feet in the ride at all times.

Marshal, Chuck and Charly headed off to ride the big rides they were gone for a couple hours and when they got back they had only been on three rides because they had spent the whole time convincing Charly to ride them.
Noelle and Kendall were very brave I took them on rides that I was sure they would scare them but I was wrong. Noelle would ride anything if she was tall enough. I took the two of them on the scrambler and they laughed and laughed.

Charly joined us and the boys were off to enjoy the big rides after one ride (the colossus) Chuck got sick and was done. Marshal was very disappointed he never got to ride the new ride the wicked.

All and all we had a great time my youngest two could not get enough of the rides. Kendall would be up high above people on the umbrella ride and yell hello city. The fast spinning rides they would just laugh and of course we saved the tilt a whirl last. My kids know that is grandmas favorite ride and Marshal remembers that Grandma, Colle and I would always ride that just before we left the park.

We had a wonderful time and Marshal is trying to talk me into taking just him so we can ride the big rides. Charly is trying to pretend she is not as big of a chicken as she is and Chuck just thinks he is to old for fun like that.

Youth Conference

This was my first Youth Conference we went to Bear Lake. I had so much fun we were able to spent two days boating. I had a blast on the tubes. I even got up on the wake board.

I loved that both my Mom and Dad were there with me. A couple of my leaders my dad and two of my buddy's woke up early one of the mornings for a chance at some smooth water it was so cold. But definitely worth it.
This is my deacon's quorum president. He really enjoyed the beach. I think his mom doesn't let him get dirty much because he really enjoyed getting muddy.

Guys I don't think that suit is modest enough for Youth conference!

On the last night the leaders did some funny skits.

This is the Bishopric doing there skit. It was really funny.

Are theme was Survivor "Survive the Fun"
I was in the Yellerz tribe we won a lot of the competitions.

We did this really cool competition where we had an egg drop off this big tower that was on the property we stayed at. We were all given the same supplies to do this my teams egg actually made it through five drops before it broke.

I really enjoyed all the stuff they had planned for us at night. I had a great time and love being in Young Men's.

Marshal

This is a member of our Bishopric

This Last week Marshal, Chuck and I were at Bear Lake for Youth Conf. I think the kids had a great time they came home very red. I have become a huge fan of this thing called the Molecule. I had the time of my life on that thing. I was a little stiff afterwards but I have never laughed so hard in my life.

I really enjoy being with the Youth. I have so much fun and learn so much from each of them. I am truly blessed to be able to associate with these kids.

The girls really make me laugh. I was told that they love that I roll new school. I found this so funny.

One night around the fire the girls wanted me and one of my counselors to show are dance moves. (Thanks to Marsh and Darci these girls think I am hip) So after we did a couple we got several of the youth to get up there I even got Marshal to show his stuff.

We had a really good time I think all the work was worth it.
