| This is the animal that she ended up choosing. They are best friends |
On Tuesday, the day before the big day we decided to continue the expensive tradition of going to Build a Bear on every child's first birthday. It was a something we did on our first anniversary, so it was decided long before reality of how expensive build a bear is! I wouldn't trade the experience for anything in world and it was really worth the money too see her pick out exactly what she wanted. She touched every animal she could grab and hugged it like she wanted it! We figured out which one she wanted cuz she kept going back to the same one we put in the bucket. She loves dogs, so it was no surprise she went for the dog. She thought she was soo cool cuz she got to push the pedal as her doggie was being stuffed. We picked the only outfit our money will buy for that stuff animal! She has been attached to this dog ever since! As you can tell she knows it is her toy and it was made for her! She carries it around the house like any new dog own

| Pizza was for dinner because it is her favorite food! She ate every bit of it and in fact she had two whole slices! The picture diagonal is another one of her eating her pizza!Being that she just turned one we decided to do a party in a place that she was comfortable in, so we just stayed at home and had family over. She really liked her pizza and as you continue to scroll down you will see some pictures of her eating her cake. The cake was simple and boring since she was just going to tear it up anyways! i put the Mickey mouse cake topper that I had when I got married and she played with it nonstop! I remember watching an episode on sesame street where a kid gets a chocolate cookie everywhere, so that was the look we were going for on her birthday! Everyone was shocked when I cut a huge piece for her! It was my plan to give her a big piece knowing that she would do more smearing and playing than eating! As you can see mama knows best when it comes to a a kodak moment! We opened presents over the course of a couple of days and there are just a couple of her opening her presents. My sister sent her a blanket that she made and one of the first things that she did was play peekaboo! She received books, lots of clothes from the Sims side, little people from my parents and that little dog came from us and Great Grandpa and Grandma Schaffer. It was such a wonderful week! We really appreciate all those who helped make her day so wonderful! We love you! Thank you for thinking about her on this day and at that time. We are so very grateful for this bundle of joy that made our life complete and strengthened our marriage. I cannot imagine life anymore without her! She has made us soo very happy! and we look forward to the many many years to come with her. She is the best! Happy birthday sweetie! love mommy and daddy! |
