anyway, while reading the psy textbk, i have suddenly realised how real the concept of "self fulfilling prophecy" is.
Sometimes, when we get too obsessed in a particular idea/outcome, we are actually causing ourselves to behave in a certain manner that will eventually lead to that outcome.
AND that reminds me of someone's advice not so long ago.

One week has flew past...

O well, for the latest update, 1 WEEK OF SCH IS OFFICIALLY OVER.
One word to summarise everything-TIRING.
Yes, i know it has only been one week...
with no real teaching and learning taking place...
with no tuts and books to read...
with no pages of text to memorise...
oh gosh, this is going to be a really tough sem when it really start.
and i pray that i don't get too emo during it as some of us are already in that mood.

that's means i reach home at about 7pm or 10pm?!

I have no idea what's my problem, but it's kinda getting on my nerves when our lecturers kept piling high hopes on us.
Like what DTRM is the best, whatever cream of the crop, the brightest...yadayada
:/ i hate hearing that and i have no idea why.
perhaps becos it brought back the haunting past, my past failures and all.
Those memories that proves that i am not exactly such a smartypants after all.
Okay, this only applies to me or just my tiny smashed self-esteem(as what my sis said).

Time to wake up at unearthly hours to complete tuts and meet deadlines...
I will most certainely miss those time spent with my fav black couch.
BUT, it's okay.
cheriepoks here is so going to make sure that she enjoys herself.
It's only a matter of finding the motivation, and i am sure the coming rejection letters shall do the job.

I hate being trapped in a taxi with an inquisitive driver...
Driver who JUST don't get the idea that their passengers are veryvery tired and most certainely not in the mood for preaching/ some background check.

haha, even cheryl commented that i am oh-so-damn-free to indulge in such things...
HOWEVER I ENJOY DOING IT, weird though, but so true.

Yesterday was an Ikea and Art Friend day.
Went with chubbs to Ikea first, shop around for some random stuff.
Then we proceed to Art Friend to purchase "materials".
SO yup, yesterday was quite fulfilling. :)

I was supposed to wake up in the morning to go gymming with shihui...
but the lazy bum me found it so freaking hard to wake up so early to do exercises, so i ps her...

omg, i am having mixed feelings about it...
So looking forward to be back studying with the lovelies, yet i am hating the "studying" part.

i hate that but i can't help it.

WoW! easily the best day i had since the holidays started! :)

Checked myself yesterday during bathing and found out that i was hurting at quite a number of places...

and the experience was truly worthy of the bites.
So, no regrets at all.

Alrighty, now for the second day in cambodia!

23 March 2007:
Early in the morning, BREAKFAST time at the hotel!!! That reminds me of something really funny...Last night (22 march), our guide Rose told us to meet at the 6th floor for breakfast tmr morning. However, when we went into the lift, the highest floor reflected was only 5!? Then, we started to doubt the sanity of Rose...WAHAHAHAHA, O well it turned out that the 6th floor-the twilight zone, really exist. You have to climb the stairs. HAHA



After brekkie was the gathering at the CSCC for briefing of the day's event. We were all separated into groups to install the coms at different places. Si ling went to Don Bosco-a sch, while i was to remain at CSCC...THE WHOLE DAY WAS SUPER BORING. tsktsk
WHY?
Becos the coms at CSCC were all fully fixed up and all!? All we could do was just to set up the operating system and then install microsoft office...
B.O.R.I.N.G
and there were like only 2 cds only and 4 pple...
WoW, perfect time to stone and adsorb the darn sunrays...
and i ended up chatting with this cambodia guy. He turned out to be a undergraduate who majored in IT!!! omg, imagine my embarrassment. He is like a 100 times more proficient in computers than i am!? haha, damn paiseh man.



Eventually, i got so sick and tired at the CSCC that i requested miss vicky to kindly bring me to Don Bosco...HAH, yes, she brought me there!!! AND the rest of the day was WOW! Super interesting! I get to see sooooooooooo many young kids!!! SO small and adorable. :)
But they are really quite poor things!?
Basically, compared to here, they are really being deprived of so many things that we often taken for granted here.
Food for example? I have seen how this girl actually picks up a biscuit from the EXTREMELY dirty floor and puts it into her mouth!?
And they are really happy to see foreigners? haha, that's a new discovery! They will crowd around you and hold your hands? haha, pure bliss! I love babies and kids too much man!
The kids there are really very friendly.



After that, it was the routine of having our dinner and sharing session...
After which, of course, TIME to sleep...
