Hey friends, today I've got a video using up leftover colored images to create a card. Whenever I have extra colored images, I put them in a bowl on my desk, and every once in a while, I'll sort through them and make a card. Today is that day! I did hesitate to use these images since they're from the Hello Bluebird Fly a Kite stamp set, which is now retired. But I just hated to see them go to waste, so I decided to use them anyway, along with a Pathway background.

Fairy Bayou Birthday Card
Hey friends, it's Christy here with another magical fairy garden card using Hello Bluebird. This time I had the song Blue Bayou on my mind, and so I wanted to create a scene with a fairy hopping across lily pads, as if she were playing hopscotch. I pulled together images from Fairy Dance, Fairy Garden, and Fishin' Hole, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with their matching dies.
For the background, I started with a panel of Bristol and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks. I used Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, and Chipped Sapphire for the sky, and Salty Ocean with Chipped Sapphire for the blue bayou. Then I die cut another piece of Bristol using the Pond Builder and blended on Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Script in the center and popped the grass up with foam tape.
I added my images to the scene and finished off the card with some clear sequins and Stardust Stickles. If you'd like to see how this card came together, click below or you can find the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel. I really hope you enjoy this one! Thanks so much for watching and for stopping by!

Rainforest Birthday Card - Lawn Fawnatics #171
Hey friends, it's time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is so much fun! We've got a Bingo board for you to use, which gives you so many possibilities! You can get Bingo by doing a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line. For my card, I went with a diagonal line, going from the top left to the bottom right, so paper trimmer, critter, birthday, ink blending, and glitter.
I brought in a bunch of stamp sets for this one, including Simply Celebrate More Critters, Toucan Do It, Wood You Be Mine, Beary Rainy Day, and Ahoy Matey. I colored the image with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. Then I trimmed out the Giant Happy Birthday to You from Woodgrain Light Brown Cardstock and Chocolate Bar and glued them together to create a drop shadow with the woodgrain cardstock on top.
For the background, I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto some Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock using the Birch Tree Stencils to create the look of a jungle or rainforest. In the center I used Twisted Citron and darkened that up at the top and bottom with Mowed Lawn. I trimmed off a little bit with my paper trimmer and glued it to a Noble Fir card base. I popped up my sentiment and images and finished with a little Stardust Stickles. BINGO!

Spring Bird-day Card - Lawn Fawnatics #170
Hey friends, it's time for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and this one is right up my alley. It's patterned paper! Yay! You can use any of Lawn Fawn's existing papers or you can create your own. I combined three different patterns from the new Rainbow Ever After 6x6 and used the Winter Birds to make a Spring card by combining it with Toucan Do It and Really High Five. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the focal panel, I cut down a piece of Bristol Cardstock with one of the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks using the Cloudy Stencil. I wanted it to be a sunset sky, so I used Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, I did a little splatter detail to look like confetti, and stamped a sentiment down at the bottom in black ink.
Then I took the patterned papers and trimmed them down with a Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable and layered them on a Speckled Eggshell card base. I popped the focal panel up with foam tape and adhered my images with liquid glue. To finish off the card, I added a few Clear Sequins and some Stardust Stickles.
If you'd like to see how this card came together, you can click below or find the video tutorial HERE on my YouTube channel. I really hope you enjoy it! Be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team created to inspire you and to link up your own patterned paper projects to play along.
