Rachelle Anne Miller Birthday Card

Hiya ,have done this pretty little 7x7 card for my Granddaughter.. as it is going through the post I wanted it to travel well so have kept it thin.. I have used the Topper companion ,but the other two images are off a different topper sheet with lots of images on in various sizes..this then worked for me as I did now want to use the usual two extra pictures with the Topper Companion set. I mounted all the toppers onto Craft card and did a lot of faux stitching as you can see on the pics..The backing paper was from the Design set section and worked perfectly with the toppers.and of course so did the insert too as shown...I then added the paper and insert to the craft card and popped them onto and into the card..Collall all purpose is best for this ,wiggle room so you can straighten. Then using 3D Collall glue gel.. I added the topper, small pictures..I used a Small flower punch, cut out some daisy shapes then put in some gold sparkly gems..I am sure Jessica will just love this ..I finished with a hand written name tag..she is going to be five this year.. Thanks for visiting :)xx

Same But Different My Besties

Todays card for My Besties is a Same but different ,if you pop to http://mybestiesuk.blogspot.co.uk/   you will see how the team all do the same image..It is a strange idea, but at the same time it is amazing how people can have a different take on the same image and create such different cards..Mine is coloured in using Polychromos Pencils,I have mounted her onto black card as I think this makes many images just pop..The card I used is a Easel card but instead of folding in half then folding the half in half onto itself I folded it the opposite way which supports a longer topper ,I also prefere this type of easel myself.Thr paper I used is from a paper pad I got from Lidles last year, its very pretty and all the glitter on it is encapsulated..All this was added to Black card and put onto the easel base.I then put my stopper on using 3D glue and a embellishment cut from what was left from the paper that I used to cover the card with, I then added the topper with 3D glue and to finish added 3 small pink roses..I love using dramatic papers and do try to add them int the design instead of covering then as I feel it would be such a shame to do so..Thanks for visiting :)xx

I love this CD and I am really sure that you will also feel the same way about it too..I have done five beautiful samples to give you an insight into the cd so I hope you will love them as much as I did making them :)xx

Sheenas a little bit Sketchy

I was thrilled to be asked to colour ,but also nervouse as I was asked to use some of the new Aqua Pens that Crafter' Companion has recently added to their ever growing arsenal of colouring mediums.. I had mine sitting collecting dust since they came out so it was my chance to try..Are they like watercolour paints,No they are different in a pen form to start with..They can be used as water volours or used direct from the pen..I prefer the first way,but went direct from the pen for these much brighter and quicker too.. So here are my sample ,a great learning curve and a whole lot of fun too..and after all that is what crafting is all about lol :)xx

Rick St Dennis 50th Birthday card

Well I was asked to do this card ,been so busy and forgot it so sat up until five this morning doing this and boy was I shattered an I am not 100% I think its a head cold ..Right I got this lovely Image .Its printed onto Neenah card and I have used Polychromos pencils to colour it in with.It is such a fun image and Rick is such a fab artist that although the images look complex once you get started you realise he has done a lot of work and left hints as to where to add shading ..so don't be put off...The papers are from First Edition Love Letters, which are very thick and luxurious . Most of the embellies are from there too. I Used Black card for a dramatic effect and finished with a few large blooms and a few gems. Hope you like her as much as I loved doing her , Thanks for visiting :)xx

Times Gone By.. From Crafters Companion

It is lovely to see a good all around vintage kit from Crafters Companion in their Times gone By.It is simply full of beautiful images and fabulous papers and a few new card shapes to name a few things in the kit..Also there is a set of wonderful Rubber stamps that go with it also to finish the experience,if you love to colour. I loved this cd as I think to many on the market are more Shabby Chic and this one is much more vintage. But do not get me wrong there are beautiful coloured papers and toppers and you can give your  cards a much more modern vintage feel to if you know what I mean .. Here are my samples, the first being the stamped ,one of the two florals available..I hope you like them :)x
