P365 I will never catch up posting these!

Today Parker and I went on a little field trip to the local firestation. It was so much fun and Parker is still talking about it (almost a month later).

Parker is our wanna-be rock star. He turns so many things into "guitars". This is one of them.

Made my dad's famous salsa today... and the onions get me every time!

We pulled out some of Spencer's old toys and all the kids have been kept entertained ALL day with them.

P365

Our poor pumpkins. They have this white powdery mildew stuff on them and they are dying. :(

Getting ready for the big BYU-Utah game this week. Our neighbors got a neon Y sign, so we had to do something else. :)

Cheering on the Utes.

Look what I found in our "Friend" magazine today. Awww... (It says "all moms are great")

Another day at our house where we have a bunch of kids in our backyard. It get's a little crazy, but it's fun!

MishMash of the last couple months

Sometimes because of my picture a day thing, I don't post other pictures that have other great memories associated with them. So, I'm posting a few of them now. :)

Family picture in Hinckley.

Birthday boy and birthday cake. (It is an alligator if you couldn't tell).

Carly before the neighborhood bike parade. That's a flower on top of her head.

Cute picture of Kyle's mom and me.

Parker was playing in the dirt/mud and fell over on his face....

One of my new favorite pictures of Kyle. Biking around Fishlake.

Waiting on the Alpine Slides in Park City.

Trying to lug the sleds around and get them on the track.

On the dreaded chair lift... dreaded by me. I hate those things!

Self portrait by the river.

HAHAHA! Having fun at Fishlake.

Can you see that snake? I was at Kami's house and we had an encounter with this guy. He was atleast 3 feet long, but probably more because we couldn't see the end of him. YIKES!

The group of kids at the firestation- right after we saw the firetruck leave to go on a call. Sirens blaring and all.

Riding ponies at the carnival for the school.

The "UP" house on Labor Day.

P365 Still catching up

So we have wasps... and fruit flies. These are our two traps. Mine is a fruit fly trap I made for the house. It didn't work. So I put it outside and it caught some wasps....

The top picture is our neighbors house. So today I bought a Utah flag and we hung it from our house. That'll show em.

Not a great picture, but I just wanted to capture our bedtime ritual. Spencer has been so great about reading bedtime stories to Carly and Parker. We all love it!

Today we went and saw Mary Poppins. It was a fun outing for the older kids. They really liked it and their favorite parts were: Carly- when Mary Poppins flew over the crowd (she had a hard time staying awake and we woke her up for this part). Spencer- when Bert danced on the ceiling.

Spencer found this huge zucchini and wanted a picture of it. We have zucchini coming out of our eyeballs...

P365

Kyle was on-call most of Labor Day weekend, so we didn't go anywhere, but we did end up doing some fun things on Monday. This is a picture of us at Kennecott. We went with the Waymans. It was really fun. Then we went to the UP house and went out to eat.

Just a cute picture of the kids after bathtime.

I have wanted a canvas picture, but they are just too expensive for the size that I wanted. So I found a tutorial on Pinterest and tried making my own. It turned out great! It's like 18x24 and cost me less than 20 bucks for everything.

Kyle and I went on a bike ride with Parker today while the other kids were in school. Well, somehow when Kyle was pulling Parker in the trailer, the trailer flipped and crashed. I was riding behind them and watched the whole thing. It was so scary! Luckily Parker was seatbelted in, but he had a nice bump on his head and a big welt from the seat belt. Poor kid. You can't see it very good, but there is a hole in the netting and on the top of the sides... I was just so glad that Parker was okay!

And today we went to the kids' school carnival where we had a ton of fun. The kids rode ponies, played on bouncers, got snowcones, hamburgers, played games, and obviously got their faces and hair painted. They had such a great time.

P365

Yes, I will catch up eventually...

Carly started Kindergarten today! She was SOOOO excited. That backpack is almost as big as she is.

Today is the day before Parkers surgery. We had to capture his "trigger" thumb. That's as straight as his little thumb goes.

Surgery day. This kid is the toughest kid I know. He was so happy the whole time before surgery. He had a ton of visitors (nurses, drs, and other staff who didn't have anything to do with him as a patient) come in just to talk to him and see this cute kid. He made everyone laugh and he was just so dang cute. Now after surgery was a completely different story, but we won't go into that... :)

Day after his surgery and he's doing great. He's using his thumb like nothing is wrong with it. Every once in a while he complains of pain or something, but most of the time he's taking it like a champ. And look, it's already straighter.

My mom came up to help us with Parker's surgery. While she was here, I conned her into helping me bottle some carrots. She's such a great sport! So these are some of the things I bottled this week.

P365

I'm still trying to catch up. :) So these are from a few weeks ago.

For YW, we went to a neighbors pool and had a pool party. The girls really had fun with my underwater camera.

We are all about bubble baths around here.

Today Carly attempted to ride her bike without training wheels. She went to get her shoes on and came out like this.

We went to the local "beach" today. It's actually at the park by the river. But they have put all of the sandbagging sand there and it really is quite a nice little beach. The kids loved it and we all had a fun afternoon.

As I was sitting on our deck tonight and watching the kids play, there was a nice sunset and look what it did to our mountain view! So amazing!

P365 Catch up

Self portrait

Was able to go to a friends' daughters' baptism. They are from Albuquerque, but came up to Utah to do the baptism so we were able to go. It was so fun to see them again! Plus our kids had so much fun and picked up right where they left off!

Sunday night games.

First day of school for Spencer. Carly had a Kindergarten assessment, so she got all ready to go and Parker just wanted to be in on the fun.

Someone got into Carly's makeup...

P365 (Catching up still)

Taken with my phone. We went to a ward party and had dinner, joined in a horseshoe throwing competition, and just had a ton of fun! I had to take this picture because of Spencer's plate full of treats with his hamburger.

Today we headed up to Primary Childrens Hospital because Parker had an appointment with a cardiologist to check his heart out. I wish I would have thought to get a picture with all of his EKG leads on, but I wasn't thinking about it then. Luckily, everything turned out okay and as far as we can tell, he's healthy! Such a relief. Makes me sure grateful that I have healthy kids, because there are a lot of parents who aren't that lucky. Sure love him!

Our first corn harvest of the season and it was DELISH!

Early morning temple trip with the YW before school starts.

Took the kids to the aquarium today. It was fun, but made me miss the one in ABQ.
