Tonight we had some family come and stay with us -Kyle's parents and sister and her
husband. Well we realized that a year ago we were in Hawaii with Kyle's parents so
we decided to celebrate by making these yummy drinks- Lava Flows.

Today was a special day for our family. Spencer was baptized a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by his dad. This is a picture of all of the
family members that could come.

Today I was sick, so this is the view that I saw most of the day.

Still sick.

Today was our first ipod injury...
this is what happens when 2 kids are fighting over the ipod and
one lets go. Poor kid, but as you can see, it didn't traumatize him too much.

What a sunny day today! We played outside most of the
afternoon.

And today it's overcast and rainy.
March-in like a lion, bla bla bla.

Today I got to go with my sister up to Logan to photograph a wedding. It was nice to be able to spend time with her! She was also very patient with me as I tried to help her out...

It was such a busy and fun day today! For the finale of the day, we took the kids to Disney on Ice. They wanted to dress up so Carly was Snow White, Parker decided on Woody (after really wanting to dress up as a princess) and Spencer wore Mickey ears. I'm so blessed to be the mom of these kids.
A typical Sunday afternoon making cookies at our house.

This is what an 8 year old looks like. Happy Birthday Spencer!

This is what Kyle loves. Since the weather has been so
wintery he hasn't had a chance to go outside very much.

Someone started cubscouts today.

After a couple of unproductive days of being sick, I decided
to do something. This is a tablerunner that I made today.
It's the first time I've quilted anything AND I learned
how to bind by hand, so while it's so far from perfect,
it was a good way to spend a sick day.

Someone is 8!

Waking up bright and early to all of his presents/cards.

Monster cupcakes (one of the many sweets we had for his day).

Monster cupcakes again.

We celebrated all weekend long. On Saturday, we took the kids to see Disney on Ice. Carly dressed up as Snow White, Parker as Woody, and Spencer just wore his Mickey ears from Disneyland.

Saturday morning we had Spencer's friend party. We went to a jumper place and then came home for lunch and ice cream cake.

They had so much fun.

Just enjoying the festivities. (I look too young to have an 8 year old... right? RIGHT?! :) )

Some of the crew eating pizza

One of the birthday cakes. This is actually a family favorite- Oreo Ice Cream Cake.
Can't believe I have an 8 year old. He's so excited to get baptized and also to start cubscouts tomorrow. Crazy.

Tonight is Parker's first night in a big boy bed. That's right, no more crib! (The last time we didn't have a crib set up in our house was almost 8 years ago!) All he would do for the pictures is stick his tongue out.

Today we had a girls day out with all the girls in my family. We all met up and went to the Carl Bloch exhibit at BYU. It was really neat and fun. Plus being around such great women is always a plus.

On a nice Sunday drive to see the Draper Temple. I love having so many temples so close!

We had a fun FHE tonight. We read through David and Goliath while the kids/Kyle acted it out. The kids loved throwing marshmellows at Kyle's head. For the activity and treat we made homemade ice cream in bags.

We woke up to a lot of snow this morning so the kids and I got our snow gear on and spent a couple hours making snow creatures. The neighbor girl joined us and her grandpa snowblowed our walk/driveway for me since I was playing with the kids. I SO got the better end of that deal!

He got this stuck on his head today...

These are my house shoes. I'm not suppose to go barefoot anymore (or wear flip flops- wah!). They have special insoles in them to help me out. It's kind of a pain to wear these around all day, because I am such a no-shoe person, but I have to say, my feet are doing so much better! It's worth it.

Kyle went to a medical conference all day and brought me
home a souvenir - my favorite drink
in a sweet bottle.

This is such a typical picture of Parker.

And so is this! He got all ready to go play outside by
himself.

He wasn't very happy about practicing the piano
today.

She is SO ready for Kindergarten! It's hard for me to
keep coming up with things for "preschool".

Today is a monumentous day for our marriage. We decided it was time
to get a King size bed and it came today!

I took the kids to Gardner Village this morning and it wasn't open yet.
I thought it would be fun to take some pictures while we waited. After 3 pictures,
the kids were so cold, that we just went home.
(Side note: Places should really open before 10.)

Today we went to my parents house for the long weekend to help them celebrate my Dad's birthday. They had a big party with a bunch of people and yummy food. It's so nice to live closer to family so we can see them more!

This morning we woke up to a bunch of snow. And we all took turns enjoying the hot tub with the snow landing on us as we soaked and relaxed. Ahhh!

I get to love on my niece a lot more these days!

We took the kids to the dinosaur museum while we were visiting the parents.

Today is laundry day- and getting back from a trip makes for more and more laundry...

YW was at my house tonight. We had 17 girls in our kitchen making food at one point. We made fried tacos and apple cinnamon enchiladas that we are making for next weeks YW/YM cook off. We are so going to win!

Today was a miraculous day. Carly ate broccoli- and kept eating it!

I almost forgot to take a picture today, so while we were at Home Depot tonight, I took a pic with my phone. Yes, Spencer wanted to join in on the race car/carts... we don't care what people think, so we let him. :)

Today the kids got a Valentine's package in the mail from my parents. They were so excited!

I just can't get enough of this kid lately. He cracks me up! I have to wrestle him to get anything accomplished with him- it was a miracle I got this picture during all of the craziness that is Parker.
Valentine's Day! Decorating sugar cookies.

Kyle took this pic of me making dinner and I feel like I was in the kitchen ALL day today, so I felt this would make an appropriate picture of the day.

Remember my Valentines pillow I made a couple weeks ago? It was on T.V.! I actually DVR'd this and watched it today. It may be the closest I ever get to fame....

Cleaning Day! Every Thursday is our family cleaning day after school. It's so nice to have a clean house for a few hours! :P
