Today we practiced for all the Easter Egg Hunts coming up.

This morning we had our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. We all met at one persons

house and eggs were hidden all over the neighborhood. It was SO much fun and we absolutely

LOVE our neighborhood. This is only a portion of all the people who showed up. Afterwards we had a potluck breakfast and we all just sat around and chatted.

Just a cute girl with her Easter stash.

For our FHE activity tonight we played toilet tag.

We made cupcakes and ice cream cake today to take to Kyle's work.

Parker LOVES to help me bake things.... this is why.

These are the cupcakes we made. They didn't turn out quite the way I planned, but

they were super yummy. Chocolate peanut butter cupcakes with cream cheese chocolate peanut butter frosting. We delivered the treats to Kyle's work today. The kids were so excited to go to Dad's work to visit him.

Spencer is in a fishing club that meets on Thursdays. So the whole

family went today to hang out.

This morning we woke up and celebrated Kyle's birthday. The kids had a great time

opening his presents... Happy Birthday Kyle!

Date night. Yummy Shrimp.

Today we went on a family bike ride in the rain. We

have had cabin fever so bad that we didn't care- it was

just nice to be out!!

Computer keeps flipping my pics for some reason. Today

and other days, we've been working on scanning Kyle's parent's

old pictures so we can burn them on a CD. It's been fun to see some old

pictures of us that we've never seen before. This is at my R.N. graduation- just a few

weeks before we were married.

Today we went here for the first time ever. We'll be

back.

We took Spencer out of school today so that he could go snowboarding
with Kyle. It was his first time and he did SO great!

Even though it's been cloudy and rainy pretty much everyday since we've

moved here, the blossoms on our tree are coming out and making

me believe it's Spring.

She picked me a bunch of dandelions today and while she was smelling one,

her nose turned yellow.

I made this bunny bread today before our "practice" Easter egg hunt to

help us set the mood for Easter.

My kids are too young to be embarrassed by their mom, but if I keep it up, it will happen soon!

I just like to be comfortable after church. Sue me.

Today was actually a sunny day! We played, weeded, planted all day. The kids helped and they would take breaks jumping off of our little wall.

Surprise! This is what we found when we opened the blinds. Don't mind how dirty the windows are...

Spencer earned a jacks set from piano lessons. I took it upon myself to teach him the ways because, yes folks, I was a champion player in the game when I was a kid.

Seriously?!? If it wasn't for the allergies that I am suffering with, I'd never know it was Spring.

Such a beautiful day today at Kyle's parents house! Had to have some 4 wheeler fun.
Conference weekend is one of my most favorite weekends of the year.
For General Conference today, Kyle's mom helped the kids put this puzzle together in the hopes that they'd be more quiet and listen. :)
Today someone turned 5! We're so glad that Carly is part of our family.
I turned my back for one second this morning and this kid escaped into the muddy
backyard to play in it... in his pajamas.
She slept in her new ballerina pajamas tonight. She was so excited to sleep in
a tutu!
The most bubbles I've ever seen in a bath tub. He LOVED it!

I spent a portion of the day getting ready for Carly's friend party for tomorrow. She's having a
princess party... again. So I made frog cupcakes.
All of the princesses at the party today, dancing away. And one older
brother who couldn't help himself.

Somebody is 5!

We woke up early, as is tradition. The presents were all on the table and the house was decorated. We had yummy crepes with caramel sauce (as requested by the birthday girl). Hopefully she had a great day!!! Because she deserves it.

Just waking up to her presents.

I just think this is a funny picture of Spencer trying to wake up.

The cake. It's usually a surprise what their cake is going to be until their birthday morning. She was hoping for a rainbow cake and so we made it happen. :) (Easiest cake I've made yet, so it was an easy request to fulfill)
The birthday girl posing with her presents that she opened that morning. We're also so grateful for family who remember our kids on their special day. Thanks!!

Tonight we took the kids down to Temple Square. We went to the Church History Museum, ate at the Nauvoo Cafe, and then took a tour of the Conference Center. I wanted to take the kids there so when General Conference will be on, they'll be able to say they were in the same building. And maybe they'll listen better?

Tonight I was able to go to the Young Women General Broadcast for our church. SOOO neat to be in the same building as the prophet and other leaders!

Parker has been on a kick this week of wearing his sunglasses and red hat.

Spencer started Spring Break today so we took the kids to the Natural History Museum. We took a lot of pictures of dinosaurs and stuff, but this is one of my favorite pictures of the day.

Tonight when I went to check on Spencer, this is what I found. He's such a great kid and he's a great example to me to read my scriptures.

Carly sure loves princesses and dolls! This is what I found today on her night stand.

Dirty feet at Grandma and Grandpa's house. And this picture just doesn't do the dirt justice!
