Today we went to my parents house for the long weekend to help them celebrate my Dad's birthday. They had a big party with a bunch of people and yummy food. It's so nice to live closer to family so we can see them more!

This morning we woke up to a bunch of snow. And we all took turns enjoying the hot tub with the snow landing on us as we soaked and relaxed. Ahhh!

I get to love on my niece a lot more these days!

We took the kids to the dinosaur museum while we were visiting the parents.

Today is laundry day- and getting back from a trip makes for more and more laundry...

YW was at my house tonight. We had 17 girls in our kitchen making food at one point. We made fried tacos and apple cinnamon enchiladas that we are making for next weeks YW/YM cook off. We are so going to win!

Today was a miraculous day. Carly ate broccoli- and kept eating it!

I almost forgot to take a picture today, so while we were at Home Depot tonight, I took a pic with my phone. Yes, Spencer wanted to join in on the race car/carts... we don't care what people think, so we let him. :)

Today the kids got a Valentine's package in the mail from my parents. They were so excited!

I just can't get enough of this kid lately. He cracks me up! I have to wrestle him to get anything accomplished with him- it was a miracle I got this picture during all of the craziness that is Parker.
Valentine's Day! Decorating sugar cookies.

Kyle took this pic of me making dinner and I feel like I was in the kitchen ALL day today, so I felt this would make an appropriate picture of the day.

Remember my Valentines pillow I made a couple weeks ago? It was on T.V.! I actually DVR'd this and watched it today. It may be the closest I ever get to fame....

Cleaning Day! Every Thursday is our family cleaning day after school. It's so nice to have a clean house for a few hours! :P

Even though I grew up with a dog, I don't consider myself a dog-person. So it was quite a shock that we actually got a dog about a year and a half ago. And through all of the annoying things that I have to do for "Lady" she's worth it when I see how much our kids LOVE her. She's so gentle with them and she really is the perfect dog for our family.

Today when the boys went ice fishing, my sister and I decided to take some pictures of my cute niece.

Superbowl! Our tradition is that we gather as a family and pig out and try to catch a little football in between all of our mouthfuls of food.

The kids were playing so great together tonight that i hesitated breaking it up for a picture. Of course once they saw me, they had to be themselves...

I'm loving the mountains again! I love how they look different every time I look at them. Today was a beautiful clear day, but windy, so the snow was drifting off the tops of the peaks and I just had to snap a quick picture.

We "heart attacked" our house today with love notes. I'm finding it important to remind the kids why they love each other lately... And it's always good to remind them that they're loved by us too.

One of the kids favorite things to do after they get out of the tub is to go warm up by the fireplace.

Tonight we went to a U of U gymnastics meet. I tried to take a pic at the meet, but got in trouble because apparently the flashes can throw the gymnasts off... So, when I got home, Spencer threw his stuff down on his dresser. It will have to do for my picture today.

Today we went to the Mayan to eat. The kids loved it and were excited watching the divers. Just an FYI: Mayan food = Meh.

I wanted to take some pics of Spencer to use for his baptism invitations today. He was a good sport and we got some great shots.

I'm a tester for a sewing/stitching website. This is the Valentine's Day project that I finished today for them. And since I can't find my V-day decorations (I'm sure they're in a box somewhere), it's something to add to my holiday decor which so far consists of paper hearts taped to the door.

I got to watch my cute niece today. She was so good and we all loved watching her.

Happy Groundhogs Day. I wanted to commemorate it since I never do anything. It took me a long time to get these little critters' eyes made, but the kids liked them so it was worth it...I think.

We cut Parkers hair tonight; it was LONG over due. We had to distract him with a movie and a treat, which then gets covered in hair (yuck). He's just so dang cute.
