Dilly had her first season of soccer and she absolutely LOVED it! Finally she could run and be agressive to her little hearts content! These are all pictures of her last game; she scored 4 goals for her team, the red team! We are so proud of her! Unfortunately, I can now say that I am officially a "soccer mom!" Ha ha ha!

Doug's Med School Graduation and Fischer's blessing
He did it! Doug graduated from Med school...hooray! Only one more graduation to go! We were so lucky to have so many family come in town to help us celebrate this momentous occasion. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Jeanne came into town with Uncle Tom and Aunt Margie all the way from Seattle! Grandpa and Mimi Curtis also visited from Denver! We had so much fun showing our city off. Fischer's blessing is a long story but it was going to happen then it wasn't...in the end we showed up at church and the bishop surprised us by saying it was happening. Needless to say, I don't have any pictures of that but suffice it to say that it was a beautiful blessing. We even had Doug's cousin, Brenden, and his family come up from Lincoln for the occasion! Overall, we had a great weekend celebrating graduation and Fischer's blessing!
Here's the big graduation:

Fischer Douglas
So as per usual, these pictures are in reverse chronological order but I just don't care! Here's a bit of the birth story for those who are interested (those who aren't can just look at pictures)! We went in at 8:00 am on Tuesday, March 8 and I was already dilated to a 3. They broke my water at 8:30 and then we waited.........they wanted me to progress naturally so Doug and I walked around for a while but how many loops around the hospital can you do before you get bored? I had my epidural around 12:30 (all went well in that department) and felt the need to push about an hour after. I pushed through one contraction before the nurse told me to stop so she could call the dr. When Dr. Jacobi got there, I pushed through 2 more contractions and he was born at 1:47 pm at 7 lb 12 oz and 21 inches long! My mom came into town to help with Dillon and the baby so she brought Dillon into the room right after he was born. Dillon loved him immediately and hasn't left him alone since! My dad was able to come into town the day I was released from the hospital, so that was fun! All is going well for our family and we are adjusting pretty well to a family of four.

Dillon's 4th birthday and spring break
I swear, we are always traveling to Denver on Dillon's birthday! Poor kid! At any rate, we were able to celebrate her fourth birthday with lots of cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Mimi and Grandpa at Chick-fil-a (you heard me...I just had a baby OK)! :) She had a great time playing and seeing family. Then we were able to spend some time at Copper Mountain where Dilly and Daddy were able to go skiing! Dillon loved it as usual and Daddy said it was the best two days of snowboarding he's had up there! Sounds like a successful trip to me! Then we were able to just get out and enjoy some of what Denver has to offer: nature, the zoo, family, etc. We had a great trip!
