June/Birthdays

6/5/13
There is a Bounce House that we like to go to and so we grabbed a few of our friends and wore our kids out.
 Leone and Margo
 Carter
Kennedy loves to have her hand in her shirt or in your shirt when she is tired.  She doesn't care who you are she will do that.  You can pull her hand out but she will try and put it back in .

6/8/13
It was such a nice day so we thought we would go to the Botanical Garden's in Bellevue.  It is a great place to walk and explore and they have different sections, like the woods, the gardens, the bridge.  Carter also fell while we was running and we got some cute family pictures we took ourselves.  Carter loves the movie UP.  For whatever reason he seems to remember it when things in real life are similar to the movie.  So there was an old old lady walking around with a walking stick.  After about the 3rd time she passed us Carter finally asked "Who's that and what is she holding?"  I said it was a walking stick and you could ask her her name.  Carter says "what's your name"  The woman replied "Ellie" and Carter immediately said " Are you sad your baby died and you can't have anymore"  The lady was confused and we were embarrassed.  We told her we were sorry and said it was from a movie.  Then we had to talk to Carter about Ellie being a Character in a movie and that there are people with the same name but not the same person.  He did the same thing when we were in Utah.  Our friends Nicole and Brian came over and they have a little boy named Russell, and he immediately asked for Ellie and Mr. Fredrickson.

6/10/13

I use to do pillows for a lady who had a business.  It was good money and I could do it at night or nap time.  We had 2 really big orders I had to finish so I enlisted Chris in the work that week.  He hated every minute of it but it was what I needed and he loves me so he did it.   A few days later I took the kids to the Children's Museum one last time before our pass expired.  It was nice because Kennedy  was tall enough and now walks that she was able to participate more.

Father's Day, 6/16/13

What a wonderful day for Chris and to celebrate our dads.  I have to say Chris is the best dad and my kids make sure he knows it.  They love him.  When he walks thru the door from work Kennedy screams so loud with joy and runs to him and Carter has to help him put his suit and tie away.  They play and play with him until they go to bed.  I made Chris is favorite meal and I gave him a present that I got off of Groupon, 2 hours of paddle boarding for him and I to do on Lake Sammamish.  It was a blast and I love to spend time with Chris.
This was the card that we made for Chris.  I am in love with this man and can not wait to have more babies that he can be a dad too.  We are lucky to have him.

I also have to say that I have a wonderful father, who gets better and better with time.  There are things that will always remind me of him, like I can always remember him kneeling on his knee's in his room every morning before I went to school.  I always knew how important prayer was.  He loves See's Candy and movies.

I also have a great Father in Law Bob.  He is kind and compassionate and never says a mean word about anything.  I kinda give him grief about it but really it is a great quality and something I should pay more attention to.  Thank you for giving me Chris and teaching me good things.

Ingrid and Milli at Botanical garden's

An awesome bridge at the Garden's.  It was fun and kinda creepy to walk across.

Then we took them to the Space Needle, we got to go to the top.  We had never done that before.  Then took the Monorail over to Pike's Place, we walked down to the pier had fish for lunch then took a ferry to Bainbridge Island and then we walked thru Pike's place and took the Monorail back to the Needle and went home.  It was a long fun day.

May

5/12-5/13 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

For this special day we got a steal of a deal and went to the great wolf lodge.  We of course went to church for sacrament and then headed the hour and a half drive to the Lodge. I have to saw I have been waiting for 4 years to have my little boy sing to me and it was everything and more than I had expected. I have so much joy in my heart knowing that I get to be there for him and with him in this life.  Lucky me.
When we got there we got to check in and then we all swam for a while.  There is a wave pool, a building with water slides and buckets, then there is a smaller area for little ones like Kennedy.  They had several water slides and toys for her to climb on with water coming out.  Then there are really big rides that we could ride together but Carter was 2" to short for those.  After a while I took Kennedy up to the room for a small nap.  Then we had dinner and played in the Arcade, following the kids went to bed and Chris and I just hung out.  We woke the next morning had breakfast and then swam for a few hours.  Cleaned up checked out and made our drive home.  It was a wonderful overnighter.

5/16-5/19

I was missing family so bad that I just had to come to Utah.  There was also my dear Friend (angie and john) who were having a baby shower and I was so sad I was missing it.  So I convinced Chris while him and Carter went Camping I would take Kennedy and go for the weekend.  It was fast and fun and what I needed.  I also wouldn't you know  got the flu when I was there and was down in bed for 24 hrs.  so I missed the shower. I was so sad but it happens.
Kennedy getting to know her family again.
Made a knit blanket for Tabitha's Baby due in Aug.
Macey and Maddie helping give Kennedy a bath, such good helpers.
Happy Birthday to Eric.  So glad we got to be there for a small dinner and cake.
Loving her homemade oreo's from Aunt Emily.

 Chase, so big
This is what Chris and Carter did at the Father and Sun Camp out.

Happy Birthday Carter

For Carter birthday Chris woke him up to see the scooter we got him.  He loved it.  Then we had a party with a few of his friends.  We did Pizza, cupcakes, they played and then watched a small movie.  Then we later took him to the bounce house with a few friends and he had a blast.  I can't believe my baby is 4 already.  He is 42in tall 49 lbs.  He loves to run, read books, swim in the lake, he still sleeps with his giraffe and he is very much still a daddy's boy.  He loves his trains, plays with them everyday and finally is using his imagination.  My closet has become a rocket ship.  He eats like a champ and loves the story Jack and the Beanstalk.  He makes me happy and I am grateful I am his mother.  Love you Carter.

March/April

Gma Rass came to town for her spring break, while she was there we had planned to go out for the weekend for our 5 yr anniversary.  We found this bed and breakfast  on Groupon and it was in the cute little town off the pudget sound.

We were able to walk all around the town from our hotel to dinner.  Chris had caught a pretty good cold and so he was pretty down.  So we ended up coming home early.  A  little bit more time with Gma was just fine for us.

We took Gma on a ferry ride.  We had never done one yet so it was a great time for us to go.

Carter loves to pull Kennedy in the wagon.

Easter came right as Gma was leaving so I did baskets for everyone.  We went to the YMCA and they had this big carnival set up where Carter could play all these games, see the easter bunny and of course see the fire trucks.  It was really fun.

It was a wonderful day and I think Carter and Kennedy are so cute here.

4/24
One of our friends had a birthday.  Kylee was turning 4 and she was having a party at a bounce house.  We had a wonderful time and the kids wore them selves out.

It feels good to have good friends and to have them invite us into their lives.
