Happy 32!

My birthday was a week ago and I loved every minute of it.  Chris took the day off and i usually sleep in but I was so excited.  I opened my presents and I got flowers.  I got a new DVD/BLU RAY player and a year subscription to PEOPLE.  I know some people could care less but I love to read it and do the puzzles.  The dvd player is kind of a joke, but we needed one and I was happy to get it.

It has been a great day.  Later that night Chris took me to dinner with 2 other couples, The Plewe's and the Nielsen's.  We went to Z Tejas and then back to our house for milkshakes and games.

I am grateful to be alive and have wonderful family neat and far.

Thanksgiving

Nov. 22, 1012

we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Nielsen's.  It was a great day.  Chris played football with our ward.  I then made stuffing from scratch and a jello dessert, Chris favorite.  The kids played played and had a wonderful time and we had great conversation with great people.

For me it was a hard day.  I was sad earlier.  I knew that we were missing our family and I knew everyone was together.  As the day went on and we were at Leone's House I was able to look at what I have been given and how blessed we are to be in Seattle.  Chris loves his job and it has so far proved to be a great move for us.  I am loving the are and the weather doesn't seem to bother me at all.   I will say that I have to hem my pants.  Having them wet is annoying.  It's like we walk in and take off shoes and then I want to take my pants off and put on comfy ones.  It looks like I am never dressed for the day.

 Hanging out after dinner.  We had clasic thanksgiving and then washington kind.  They have these baskets called thanksgiving from the farm.  They give you everything you need down to the spice or herb that was grown on the farm.  It is an organic as you can get.

Cookies and Jane

 I hate making cookies, probably because they never turn out the way they should.  I was invited to a cookie exchange and had to bring some.  So I bought a cookie dough package and had Chris and Carter roll them out and cut them.  I got recipes, maybe I will have Chris try them.

Meet Jane.  She is a little girl that I take care of during the week,  She is a ball of fun.  She will be 18 months come the first of the year.  I have been taking care of her for 2 months now.  Have 3 is a lot of work.  Especially when I have  a 10 month and she is 17 months.   Sometimes I have a baby on each hip and other times I have 2 in a stroller and Carter running a long side.

Snowflake Lane

This is our beautiful tree, not real.  Up here we have real one's but not us and not right now.

 There is this great play area at the top of the mall called Bellvue Square.  It is a combination of the gateway and city creek.  There is a Tesla store there and chris dreams of having one, one day.   

The above pictures are of snowflake lane.  All around Bellevue Square  at 7pm everynight from Thanksgiving to Jan 1 they do a sing a long and fake snow.  They have people dressed up in costumes and music playing really loud.  It takes up streets and streets and blocks traffic.  People go crazy for it and it is magical.

A thief...10 months

I love this little girl to pieces.  She is so adorable and loves to cuddle and hug and now she is getting so big.

She is..

30 ins tall and 18 lbs.

We have had a hard time keeping weight on her.  She wears 12-18 months clothes.

Pulls her self up on everything. Crawls everywhere, specifically to find me.

She is eating tons of food and still nursing, if you can believe it.  She sleeps about 12 hrs a night with a dream feed in there about 11 pm.

Washington vs. Utah

Middle of November we ventured into Seattle to the Sea Hawks  stadium for the Utah vs. Washington game.  It was a mer 35 degrees but we were under covered parking and we dressed the kids warm.  They had a great time and the by the 4th quarter they were both asleep.  I got to see some  great friends from utah because of the game.  Jon and Courtney Bagley and then we watched the game with Chris bestie watson and his family.  We had a great time.

Halloween 2012

Happy Halloween from the Rasmussen's.  We were in Utah and had such a great time.  During the day we went to the aquarium and then to my parents so that we could have dinner and go trick or treating.

Whar a great day we had and a great way to end our trip.  We loved being with family and friends.  We were pulled pretty thin but it was worth it.
