Beach Vacation

For the past week Chris, Charlotte, Dodger, and I have been at the Beach! Chris and I decided to take my parents trailer to Huntington By the Sea RV Park.  It is so convenient because the beach is right across the street.   Throughout our week we had many visitors stay with us. Thanks everyone who went for making our little vacation memorable.  It was really fun hanging out, BBQing, and relaxing.

CC liked everything about the beach except the water.  It was just way to cold for her toes!  For the first couple of days Chris and I just put her in the water, but she would just cry, scream, and kick so we decided to just let her be and get ultra sandy!

Her favorite game to play was fetch with the paddle ball. She would throw it down the sand and then crawl after it.
Just some of our visitors....
Chris and Trevor playing paddle ball.
We went to Newport Beach 15th street to enjoy the "good" waves.  We stayed in the water for hours boogie boarding, body surfing, playing frisbee, and duck diving under the waves.
The hot sun, sea breeze, and four wheeling through the sand was just too much for CC.   After about an hour at the beach Charlotte would take a 2hr nap. She looked so peaceful sleeping on the beach.

.........zzzzzzz.........
On Thursday, Chris and I rode our bikes over to dog beach.  We threw cc, dodge, and baby into the Chariot and enjoyed our morning watching dodge make new "OC" friends.
On our way home from dog beach we stopped at a park nearby.  We were the only ones there so we let CC climb all over the playground.

Hot Summer Day and Dodgers Day at the Beach

Charlotte enjoying a Lemon Popsicle after dinner.  It has been so beautiful after the sun goes down.
CC would live outside if we let her so hanging out back all evening keeps her happy and busy.

Today was "All about Dodger" day!
We decided to take Dodger to Dog Beach.  He loves this place. The minute we got off the freeway and rolled down the windows his tail started wagging.
Dodger frolicking with a friendly dog.

Even though it was "Dodger Day" I couldn't resist taking pictures of CC at the beach for the 1st time!
She totally enjoyed the sand and all the dogs around.  But the water was just a little cold.  The minute her toes felt the water she started crying! She is such like her momma................. hates to cold water!
You could tell this was a whole new experience for her.  She was touching the sand with her hands and her toes with the funniest little thinking face.  It was like she was thinking, "what is this stuff??"

The Past Couple of Weeks

Summer Is Here!!
The last couple of weeks have been fun.
All we have been doing is hanging out at home bbqing, swimming at Nana's, and one day we went to Disneyland.

Why do kids love rocks?
 Best Buds drinking their lattes!
Our new mode of transportation.
We got a trailer to attach to our bikes.  So now CC rides in style.  She loves this thing.  We have been taking our bikes a lot of places.  She lasts about 5 minutes and then she is out cold sleeping!

Bryis and CC are the best of friends!

 Riding Toy Story.

Charlotte loves the Carousel. She goes crazy every time I put her on it.
Almost bed time.  Getting ready to watch Captain EO.
I thought Charlotte would fall asleep, but she was fighting her sleep of course so I only got to see maybe a minute of the show.
We had a great time at Disneyland.
My main objective was to watch the new "Soundsational" parade.  I thought CC would love to hear the music and see all the vibrant colors.  This was the highlight of my day! She went crazy the minute she saw Minnie and Mickey on their float. She was reaching and screaming for them.  It was so cute.  I had chills the whole parade just watching Charlotte.
