Chris and I are GETTING MARRIED!!!


This is a reenactment, but on Sunday, December 28th Chris purposed to me in our house. We spent the morning running erans and when we got home Chris started watching football and I started putting away laundry. Suddenly Chris came upstairs and got down and one knee and asked me the question that I have been waiting to hear for a while now!!!
We are sooooo excited so now we have to start planning!

Christmas '08

Christmas 2008 was very relaxing! Chris and I didn't exchange gifts because we have been doing so many improvement on our house. We decided 4 days before Christmas that we should get a dog! We have always wanted one.... so we started looking everywhere for Lhasa Aphsa puppies. We finally found a breeder in Hesperia and called her up to see if there were any puppies left. We went over and picked out this guy! He was so cute. He was the only boy puppy that was actually energetic and full of life! We picked him up on Christmas Eve and is now part of our family.

C and L PRESENTS: Christmas Dinner and Movie

On Sunday, Chris and I played host to Christmas dinner and a movie. Both of our families came over to our house and enjoyed each others company, ate delicious Mexican food, and watched Love Actually. Chris and I were so excited to have everyone over to our house. We spent the whole morning preparing the food and cleaning. Well I did anyway..... Chris shoveled snow off the drive way, played Mario Kart with Pat, and made his famous salsa. Overall it was a hit! Everyone looked liked they enjoyed themselves. Both Chris and I thank everyone for coming over!

We all had to take advantage of the photo opp. I was thinking "pictures for my BLOG" the whole time!

So......... next stop for dinner and a movie is.......... Meem and Adam!

SNOW DAY!

At 5:10 am I recieved a phone call from the school explaining that there was no school today due to the snow. "WHAT!" Immediatly I looked at the window and saw that there was little snow. You could still see the brown dirt! The reason I was so irritated was because I had soooo much to do at school. Gingerbread Houses, Parent Gifts, and Most Important Our Christmas Performance!............. Whatever............. I feel back to sleep....................... At 9:10 I woke up once again................. It looked like a freckn blizzard and the ground was covered! So Chris and I took advantage of it... We ate some breakfast, put on our snowboarding gear, and headed outside. It was so much fun!

Chris and I win for the biggest snowman on the street! I rolled that middle section for about 40 minutes. Boy was it a workout!

We set out to look for my Christmas tree with Sam and her 2 angels....While we were looking around the HULK got angry...I told Sam to go put him in the truck with the heater on!!!





Then when the HULK calmed down and changed color I took him to the car wash with me. I spent 5 dollars on this truck.

Our Christmas Tree in OUR new home!!! Isnt it bea....U..tiful!!! Honestly i didn't want a Christmas tree this big, but Chris did! Wait till i post our outside lights. Christmas Vacation has nothing on us!!!

Friday Night at Disneyland

Chris, Cindie, Eric, Scott, Mandi, and I went to Disneyland last Friday. We started our night by going to dinner at the House of Blues. After our dinner we strolled through Disneyland and had a blast. I forget who's bright idea it was to go on the tea cups! Chris and Scott had the tea cup turning so fast I thought we were going to spin off the track. Eric didn't dare getting into the cup so he took pictures of his crazy friends!

Ping Pong Pros

Practically every night Chris and Patrick go out in the garage and play ping pong. On this particular night Patrick was beating Chris from the start. Poor Patrick wanted to win so bad he just couldnt seal the deal!
I tried to distract chris by taking his picture........ Look at them they are concentrating so hard!

Chris ended up winning.... It was a come from behind victory! As you can see from the board Chris wins a lot. Poor Patrick!!!!!!!

Best Buddies

Scout is sooooo glad Chris is finally home! She follows Chris around all day long! Whenever he sits she sits right next to him. On Tuesday Chris fell asleep on the couch watching the results of the election and Scout found a nice comfy spot for herself and slept with her best friend. It was so cute i just had to take a picture!

Birthday Club

On Sunday the Birthday Club (Aunt Trudy, My Mom, Auntie, Auntie Nanny, Auntie Sandy and I) went to PF Changs to celebrate my Auntie Nanny's 41st birthday! It was a lot of fun. We ate a lot of great food and my auntie made a DELICIOUS pink cake! My auntie nanny scored with all her great gifts as well. I think she liked mine the best!!

Main Street Corn Dog!

On Saturday October 25th Chris and I decided around 2 in the afternoon that we were gonna go to Disneyland! The main reason................... Chris was really CRAVING a corn dog from Disneyland. A few years ago Chris and I discovered this little old wagon at the end of Main Street with the most unbelievable corn dogs! They are soooo good! Back to my story........ So since Chris really wanted one we decided to go down to Disneyland and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at the Happiest Place On Earth! In California Adventure they displayed the biggest Candy Corn Ever! In Adventure Land they represent Halloween as the Day of the Dead

Pumpkin Picking 10.22.08

To keep the tradition alive Chris, Sara, Theresa, Jenny, Chuck, and I went to the Mariposa Pumpkin patch to find our perfect pumpkin to carve! We had a lot of fun walking around the patch trying to find our "Great Pumpkin"! On Halloween Chris and I will take our pumpkins to the "4th Annual Alford Halloween Bonfire". Cant wait!!

My Frankestien Wall

I am so proud of my Frankenstein wall I just thought I would show it off! Each one of my students made their own Frankenstein and then wrote their story on how they created it! Their stories are amazing!

Utah 10.10.08

Fun Fun Fun Fun. Chris and Peyton went on a wagon walk. It was really cold in Utah so both boys were dressed in there winter gear!

Columbus Holiday Weekend

Lucky Lisa had Columbus Day off so Chris and I decided to make it an extra long weekend and go to Utah Thursday night ( 10-9-08)! After 8 hours of driving we finally arrived at the back lot of Daniels Summit Lodge. We were welcomed by a sleepy Samantha and a nice and warm blowup mattress! On Friday morning we were awaken by a cute little monster called PEYTON! The entire weekend was full of adventure and fun!

Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is my new favorite thing to do! I know...I know.... Im such a dork! Well on the weekends I pretty much don't have a life because Chris is gone and Im to cheap to drive anywhere in my gas guzler of a car so I scrapbook. My aunts have given me the title of "Master Scrapper". Look at that page.... it is amazing!

Okay so I just have to tell everyone that Chris is the one who made this blog look so nice. He made all the posting and displayed all his favorite pictures. So those of you who said Chris wouldnt like it............. HA!
