Happy Birthday CC!

We celebrated CC's birthday at Disneyland.  She is getting so big! 

She loved getting the royal treatment.

Fall is Here!

 Last weekend we went to the Pumpkin Patch. CC had a lot of fun picking her pumpkin and jumping on all the cool jumpies. Abby is always so good.... she just hangs out and waits to eat..... She is such a chubs!

Best Friends and Big Girl Bed

Charlotte is being such a great big sister.  In the last few weeks she has really loved looking, feeding, burping, holding, talking, and helping Abby.  They are going to be such great friends.  It seems like Abby always loves when Charlotte is around.  

 Abby was moving way to much in her bassinet so we decided to make the transfer into the crib.  But that would mean CC would have to make a transfer to a "big girl" bed.  We have been talking about this for awhile. So finally we just went out and bought a bed.  Last night Chris put it together and she slept her first night in her bed.  She was so excited getting into it. And loved that momma and daddy could cuddle with her as she fell asleep! 

100 Year Fenway Park Anniversary

In mid April Chris received a phone call from some friends in Boston.  They told him he was invited to attend the anniversary ceremony of Fenway Park.  After a few minutes of thinking we decided to jump on a plane and go........ wait, what about the kids??? Well thankfully we have amazing family helpers that watched our girls while Chris and i went on this once and a life time trip. 

 The first night in Boston we went to dinner and drinks, 

and then got to go on the field.

Some of the guys that Chris played with.  

He had a great time hanging out with old friends and teammates.

 250 plus alumni walked out from centerfield.  

 Before the ceremony and game Sonya, Natalie, and I posed with the green monsta!

After the game we went to the old oyster house restaurant. 

This is the oldest restaurant in Boston. The host sat us at the Kennedy Booth. 

The story is that JFK use to come to this restaurant and eat only at this booth. He also would sometimes sneak in from the back with non other than Marilyn Monroe.

 Curious Big Sister

CC loves "baby abby". 

She always wants to help with everything!

NUMBER 2:

Charlotte is a Big Girl!

She doesn't have a "pass"(pacifier) anymore

and

She has enough hair to get it into a pony tail!

NUMBER 3:

CC went to her 1st Movie!

The Lorax.

Surprisingly she sat/stood through most of the movie.  She ended up falling asleep at the end.

NUMBER 4:

We celebrated some Holidays.........

For Valentines Day Charlotte was invited to a party so Chris took her.....

For Easter we stayed at home because Abby was only 12 days old. We did stroll up to Melissa's house to have a delicious ham dinner....

NUMBER 5:

Chris got to participate in the UCR alumni game for the first time.

Charlotte had fun running around the bases and the field after the game.

Well that is the couple months i missed in a nut shell.  I promise i will be a better blogger and keep everyone updated! 

LA Zoo

Happy New Year!

Chris and I decided to start the New Year off with an adventure to the zoo.  

We...(me, chris, cc, bryis, nana, grandma, pat, sara, and chuck) piled into the car and headed to the zoo. It was was a blast.  We all had a great time looking at all the cool animals.

 There was a sea lion right at the entrance. I took CC out of the stroller to take a closer look.
Bad idea!
She didnt want to leave... she just kept looking at the sea lion swim, swim, and swim. This became a problem the entire day.  Every animal she saw she didnt want to leave........ Maybe when she grows up she will be a zoologist!

Lunch Break...... after eating there lunch we let Bryis and Charlotte run around on the playground. They had a blast climbing and sliding .

Charlotte was in awwe of the tigers.  She just learned what a tiger says, so she kept on whispering, "raaaa".

Charlotte and Bryis were running on fumes (aka ice cream).
It was past both of their nap times.  Usually they both sleep in their strollers, but not today!
