Photo Studio

26 Dec 2006, we brought Valerie to photo studio, accompanied by Ko Ko Michael, we went to Mari Photo. Heard from my sister that this studio is not bad, for the price and art. My sister had taken her family photo there, and the results really damn nice! So we decided to take our family photo there also. We had a Golden Package, which costs Rp. 325,000 (around SGD 60). For alot of shots but they only give 3 shots of it printed in 15" paper. Adding 1 pic is Rp 30,000 (around SGD 5).

We went after Val had her beauty sleep and fill up her tummy. But the queue there was very long (because it was school holiday time and alot of teenagers taking photo also), and it cannot be booked or arrange the timing in prior notice. Lousy... and because Val need to wait so long, she became restless and cried. Nevertheless, they still managed to take some nice shots of her, but did not manage to carry on until the last session, because she cried.

First Christmas

Here is the first Val's christmas day, we went to beach, Pantai Cermin (= Mirror Beach). Don't ever think the water is so clean until it's call a mirror, hee hee, not sure what is fun here, but this place has been 1 of top 5 holiday places where chinese people will consider to go for holiday.
We went to the beach with Yi Yi, Yi Zhang, Jiu Jiu, Po Po, Koko Michael. Here's some of the pictures....

Still in holiday

24 Dec, wasting time at Popo's house, playing here and there (as Val's cousins have alot of toys at home), visited Auntie and Uncles, playing with Koko Michael and Koko Albert.With Koko Michael, on Koko Wilbert's car....

First Holiday!!! 23 Dec 2006 - 3 Jan 2007

23 Dec 2006, 3 am, Val woke up for milk. As I told her, faster finished her milk and back to her beauty sleep, as 5 am we needed to go to airport, we were going to visit po po and gong gong in Indo. Guess what, she didn't want to sleep after finish her milk! Forcing her eyes opened big as if to make sure she would follow us go Indo.
So 5 am, we departed from our house to airport. (and she still didn't want to sleep even a while). Reached airport around 6 am, checked in, shopped for chocolate (Val got toys from the chocolate shop for free), and here's the picture of Val's first flight with Silk Air. She got finger puppet of an artist, but I lost it somewhere in po po's house. Never mind, on the way back, she got another finger puppet of a chef.

Reach Medan Polonia Airport at 8 am (Medan timing), and her eyes still opened big! Popo carried her outside the airport since Ah Beng and I need to take luggage. Amazingly, she was okay when Popo carried her (eventhough Popo scared she will cry when a stranger carry her, and that was their 2nd time meeting since newborned). Reached Popo's house, and rest, about 10.30 am, she cried super loud and super jialat, sleepy... then she rest! Maybe she felt secure that she followed us to Indo then she happy -.-

First Tooth

I had been worrying for the past several months, since Valeries kept drolling saliva but no sign of growing tooth. Last Saturday, 2 Dec 2006, when we were about bathing her, I washed her gum and tongue as usual, and I discovered different texture of the gum. So I tried to open her lower lips to see what happened, and I was very happy! Valerie's first tooth, very small and white colour there. (Have been worrying if she was lack of calsium until 8 months already, didn't have a single tooth -.-)


Well, I keep peeping at her tooth, and probably she feels irritating of it, she will close her mouth tightly when I intend to peep. Hihihi...
