Yesterday...Halloween Fun.

Our ward had their annual "Soup and Spook" last night. We ate soup and desserts and then the Young Men and Young Women had lots of games for the kids to play. We ended the night with a trunk or treat. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of Conner who dressed up in a Lehi Cheer outfit with a wig and makeup...hilarious! I'll take a picture on Halloween and then post it for all to see.

Coby won scariest costume of the night and was awarded a king size candy bar.

Kelbi enjoyed her Halloween party at preschool yesterday as well. Saturday she gets to go to her dance party, she's just a partying girl these days.

7 silly pirate songs

Coby's class had a singing performance last week titled "7 silly pirate songs". He did a really good job and it's always fun to watch the kids try to remember all of their parts.

Coby is absolutely thriving academically in school for the first time ever this year. We have been working on figuring things out and he has a wonderful teacher this year who he loves and inspires him. He is working so hard to do his best this year and we are so proud of him.

So hard when things come to an end...well kind of

We played our last game against Timpview 2 weeks ago and yes we won but it was a bigger fight then we expected. It has been a huge sacrifice for our family to have Chris coach again this year but it has overall been so great for Chris and Cade's relationship. I really admire his dedication to our children. They are also pictured with head coach Jr. Selu who has been an absolute fire ball, but I admire him for looking at my son and seeing his raw talent and shaping him into one awesome player!

My boys...I love em! Even if the one got injured and ending up with surgery acting like he was 14 again.

My mom and dad have hardly missed a game this season and I am so grateful to them for their support and showing up in their purple pride to so many games.

Chris and Coach Taylor
One of the player's dad's thanking Chris. I have to say it's quite interesting to watch tough mean football players turn into crying hugging boys at the end of the season. But the funny thing is that they are heading to Mesquite for a bowl in November so it's only kind of over. Sorry everyone I'm sure your sick of all the football but what can I say that's the life we are living now. Conner made the Bantam basketball team so guess what soon you will get to hear all about basketball....story of my life as a mom with 3 boys.

Off to the farm

I had the opportunity to go with Kelbi and her preschool to Hee Haw Farms a couple weeks ago. We really had a good time.

Rode the slide together a few times.

Attempted the corn maze.

Went on a hayride.

Kelbi went absolutely crazy when she got to go to the petting zoo. I think she wants to grow up and be a farmer at this point.

Baby piglets were so darn cute.

This and That

Cade's team played Lone Peak a few weeks back and darn it. They lost but it was probably Cade's best game of the season, his name was announced probably 20 times over the speakers. He had watched a lot of tape and knew exactly who to go after and boy he sure did.
But even better then the game....the boys taped their ankles in pink in honor for a little boy named MJ who has brain cancer and is fighting like crazy. They called the cute little guy out at half time and awarded him the game ball. It was really emotional seeing him run out on that little field and realizing what he must go through. Good job team.

Coby earned his bobcat award at our last pack night. He was so excited to earn something by himself. I can't wait for May when I get to have him join me in bear cubs, he's always been my little mama's boy.

Cade has been still going hard with football. He played Spanish Fork a few weeks back which was so fun for him to be able to play all of his old buddies. It also ended up great that we won! Cade had so much family support at this game, his Grandpa Mike came from St. George to watch him, Uncle Casey and cousin Olivia, Grandpa & Nanny, Uncle Jer and Aunt Britt with cousins Halley, Brinley, and Cashey Boy, also our family friend Terri as well as our Bishop and his wife. My cute nieces showed up with Cade's number on their cheeks. It was so fun to keep being surprised every time somebody showed up and meant so much to our whole family. There is nothing better then family support so thanks everyone!

Cade's team finished with 6 wins and 2 losses so they missed the finals by 2 touchdowns...dang! We are now preparing to go to a Mesquite bowl where they will play 3 games! I'm so proud of Cade for all of his hard work this year with football and his grades, he really is turning out to be a great person...just makes me so proud!

Finally

Finally I am caught up on blogging! I have been so behind and overwhelmed at the prospect of catching everything up but after making a goal to post at least one thing every day I'm finally there....Yay! Hopefully I wont let that happen again.

Freshman Football #12 Cade Twitty

Cade has become one awesome player this year and I have had a mix between worrying about injuries and nail biting to having the blast of my life watching him play. This year he play linebacker on the defense & tight end on the offense. We've had a great season of wins but we have had a rough patch the last two games however even though we lost to Lone peak by one touchdown the other night Cade had the game of his life. I think they probably said his name over the intercom 20 times. He had about 15 or 20 tackles and also caught an awesome pass on a 4th down which gave them a 1st down.

He's the one on the ground on the picture above

Their team occasionally does a haka, which is a Polynesian war chant before the games and it's really neat and powerful.

He's always sweaty and gross after the games, he for sure rides home with Chris cuz I'm not smelling that.

Farthest player on the field

So the Timpanogos game was interesting...Cade and another team member tackled a boy and the boy left on a stretcher. Cade felt really bad even though he did everything right and it was just one of those things.

He had nightmares about the kid all night long. It's also been a year of doctor visits for us as well. Cade had a back injury during tryouts, then they thought he had a broken jaw during a game with Juan Diego but it turned out he just ripped every muscle he could on his jaw. Actually we still aren't sure it didn't break because it feels different now then the other side but he doesn't want to go back until the season is over. His last injury was a damage to all the growth plates along the toes on his right foot. He's all healed right now though and ready for his game against Spanish Fork on Saturday. He's super excited to play them since they are all of his friends from the old house. Pray for us that he stays safe & keeps playing hard.

Randoms

My mom took care of Kelbi and my sisters baby Cohen the other day and Kelbi decided that she could take care of Cohen

I love her face in this one she just looks so pleased with herself and in love with mothering.

Coby has been found many times lately like this reading his little sister books.

The school had their annual carnival last week to raise money for ipads for the classrooms. Kelbi thought she died and went to heaven when she saw the ponies and she spent the majority of her time here.

Coby found his friend there and she came with no money so he spent half of his punch card on her. He really is my sweet little thoughtful one.

Conner was there with his friend Brady but they are too old of course to hang with the family so I wasn't able to get any pictures of him. We left him there a little longer while we went to the neighborhood bbq.

Provo River Trips 2011

My sisters in laws have property right on the Provo River they never use so we like to run up there and camp for some fun. My McClellan extended family loves to have get togethers up there and we spend lots of time playing games, riding wheelers, floating the river, sitting by the fire, and having water fights.

The boys love to shoot the BB guns.

Redneck Cade is in heaven up there with all the outdoor activities to do.

Coby always catches more snakes then I care or want to count

Grandpa taught Coby to drive the wheeler this trip which made him feel so big and proud

Chris playing word games around the fire with his headlamp on

We always go on a long ride up little deer creek and ride through the water and the dust. On our way back this year we found a drunk or wasted man asleep in the middle of the road so Becca rode off to get her husband who is a paramedic leaving me and my friend Jill to ride back with my dad.

Does this give meaning to the words "eat my dust!"

Conner also learned how to ride the wheeler this year. Thanks to grandpa for being so patient.

Grams came on one of our trips and these two enjoyed snuggling and watching for us to come down the river.

Swinging on the tire swing is always fun to.
