Rain Rain Go Away.......

Today it did not rain. Tomorrow they say it won't rain. But everyday since May it has.  We have received (unwanted) 6 inches of rain in the last 3 days- that on top of what we have had alllll Spring. I am either going to have to take the Vitamin D back out of the cupboard from this Winter or start tanning in a bed again- just to curb the depression.  I am sick to death of it.  I am growing gills I believe

If it weren't for Vixen's upcoming visit I surely would lose it completely!  I hate bitching about the weather but this is enough.  I have had my swim suit on once this Summer and the warmest it has gotten lately is 73 degrees.

Dear June:  I am over you- go the Fuck away.  Oh! and July- you sure as hell come in with a better Summer attitude then June did.

I'm a mom too

I am a mom.  I have four kids.  They are 11, 10, 8.5, and 6.5.  I am crazy busy with them.  But I try every night to read to them.  I have cut back to reading just to the younger two now since the older two are into their own chapter books.  It is something I have done since they were born.

My oldest reads at a 12th grade level and my 10 yr old reads at a 9th grade level..... I think it worked plus it gives them THAT time to be alone with me- something that never happens on a regular day.

kinda sad- blogs come blogs go...a lot go lately

Bloggers are dropping faster than...... Well, they are dropping fast.  I too have often thought of just not blogging anymore.  But what I have done instead is not make it a must do, but rather a want to do- when I want to do it.  I just read another blog stating she was done- for now.  After last August I found it very hard to keep blogging and as more and more bloggers quit and I don't have the time to discover new blogs I (as I stated) really have a hard time keeping on some days. 

I have no point here. 

I blog for myself, I don't make a point to blog hop just to get people to my blog anymore.  I don't much care about what I post anymore- I use it as a brain dump or not - talk about sex or not......  I just use it for me.

Not much else to say- I'm kinda sad though.  That's all

No, I wouldn't date myself.  I would get too frustrated with the way my brain works and the doubts and walls and worries......  I am highly distractable, I am hard to get to be serious and to focus, and I can not sit to have a conversation.  I like to have fun and am great at making plans happen but not the best at making the plans.  I am grumpy in the mornings and stay up way too late at night.  I am a flirt and unless the person I date is way confident it might sit wrong with them.  I wouldn't date me- but if i did.....I'd have fun  :D

BRAIN

No doubt on this one.  

That being said- I talk ALOT and fast...... so just imagine how much my brain works!

I haven't fantasized about much lately.  I actually haven't been much in the mood for real life sex much less fantasy stuff..... but I used to often fantasize about my mate blindfolding me, and switching himself for someone else. The touch of another - but not being able to tell who it was/ is.  The idea of that used to send chills up my spine.

My Boobs.

I have been a rail my whole life.  I had to watch what I ate and my exercise after each child to lose the baby fat and again lately after bedrest this Winter.  But all of a sudden I have boobs - they have grown a whole size- and hips.  I have never had hips and a bum... I keep wondering whose ass is following me around.  They are still small compared to others' standards but compared to what I am used to- they have grown!

It was a weekend in the 60's and required long sleeves most of the time.  But we still got out and had fun.

I say this all the time. But it is true.  No matter how much you try to control some situations you can't.  Unless a person walks away completely they have to 'deal' . Deal with situations, people, ideas, and things they like and don't like.

The person who said- live the life you desire obviously never had responsibilities.  Life gives us situations where doing what (we think) we want to would cause more long term trouble then living the life we have.

So, persevere, carry on, find some happy moments and enjoy them- and just 'deal'.  Deal with the rest and shrug it off by saying "So it goes"  Because sometimes ain't that the truth.

A road trip is in order.

A week on the road not showering enough and eating all the wrong foods as we explore whatever there is to see along the way. Sleeping in and staying up late or getting up early and napping at a rest stop with the breezing blowing in the window.  Back aches and tummy aches- laughter and memories. It is all part of the fun of a road trip.

However I will spend the week busting my ass to get a lot done before we leave for the weekend and a family camping trip we have planned.  Getting the kids to school early which means bed early- the longer day light hours and warmer temps make both hard.  I have to finish up the house, do laundry, grocery shop, plan and pack while doing my other things too.  Sigh.....  I am glad everyone else has fun jumping in the truck and heading off w/o a thought of the work that went into getting there (wait...stop.....this isn't a bitching post- sorry!)

So while I won't get my road trip - it will be something, and just maybe I will get a chance to wear my new swimsuit (one of three I found this year)  *click the pic*
