When i first saw e Physics results, I was so touched tat I have to control so hard for my tears not to drop! It's e best results tat we ever had for Physics, climbing to a 76% A this year, a 8% jump from previous years! i guess every effort counts, be it PAP, your tutors intensive remedial, your hard work, support from your classmates.... I am really very glad that we really make it. In fact, all 3 sciences have done extremely well, and bio also had record high results! 3 cheers for Hwa Chong science department!

05S7A Appreciation Dinner
I am a man of few words... haha... jus kidding.
But obviously giving speeches has never been my forte. Perhaps I always have too much going on in my mind that I am often lost for words. esp when i get emotional. jus like this evening.
Frankly, tonight mus been one of the most enjoyable dinner since a long long time. dint realise my 05S7a stds are so appreciative, even to host a dinner for us :)
Being appreciated by stds is perhaps e best gift that any teacher would hope for. After teaching in Hwa Chong for several years now, I came to realise tat perhaps e most important trait of a successful teacher is not how knowledgeable he or she is, or even how well he or she can teach the content, but rather, in my opinion, it's how much he or she cares for e stds.
My philosophy is not to expect rewards from stds, as not all stds are so appreciative. But more often than not, I would be pleasantly surprised by my stds, to realise that I have made a positive impact on their lives.

I am reviving my blog for you guys! I guess this is perhaps e best way for us to keep in touch!
Thanks for all e notes, gifts and yummy dinner! even bought mi a broccoli! tink ur bio and chem tutors who "only" receives small roses mus be extremely jealous... haha :)
After I left e dinner, I rushed to my next appointment but the notes were too tempting for me not to read. I started reading when the traffic light turned red at e junction! haha...
i felt it hasn't been tat long ago when we first met in class, and we clicked amazingly well. I really had lots of fun teaching u guys for e past 2 years, although at times I was so busy and couldn't fully prepare for lessons ;) (but i guess no one detects tat... haha)
Everyone of us has now gone on to e next phase of our lives, including myself. I hope that your 2 years in Hwa Chong has been an unforgettable experience. Hwa Chong has a special place in my heart, and hopefully she has a special place in yours too. And very importantly, cherish e friendship with your classmates, and continue to support each other in times of difficulties.
May the Chow Power be with you!

Prom Nite 2006
Came baq from uk jus in time for e prom, had actually rescheduled my flight to return to singapore earlier, otherwise wouldn't have made it for e prom. But luckily i was there... being able to see my stds for e last time, at least officially for e last time... is alreadi a good enuf reason to be there... almost cant recognise many stds initially... all of a sudden had turned into handsome young men n charming yound ladies... but did all turn baq into toads when e clock struck twelve? haha...
Unfortunately my camera batt was flat, otherwise i would have some photos posted on tis website... so pp whom i had taken photos wif, please email me e photos k!
almost 2.30 am liao... guess many of u r still out there having fun... but i gonna sleep liao... leaving for shanghai tomorrow morning..... update mi wad fun u guys had k!

My blog revived!
I have neglected my chowamushii blog for a long long time alreadi... sorry readers for e long wait :(
Over the past few mths, all my energy had been directed towards preparing my stds for e A-levels... so i m sure my dear readers will forgive me for not updating my blog rite? sound so noble huh? haha... i m sure most trs would oso ve done their best to help their stds... jus feel tat it is partly my responsible to help my stds, esp since i m in-charge of e physics unit... e feeling of taking care of all 600 physics stds is quite a heavy responsibility... but at e same time it has realli been satisfying doing tat.... i tink i've not told anyone tat i wont be in-charge of physics next year anymore... kinda sad :( will be taking charge of IT instead... an area tat i m oso interested in, so i guess i ll be enjoying my work too... so less of physics admin work.. perhaps can then spend more time giving interacting wif my stds next year n conducting more marathon remedials! (S68 u rem e physics camp tat i conducted in j1? S72 & 74 our final and intensive battle jus a month b4 A-levels... S7A no long remedial, as most of u had learnt ur stuff well during tutorials!)
oh yes, most of u told me tat e physics papers were tough rite? indeed. but in general, a challenging paper would actually be to our advantage.... why? cos stds from most other JCs ll most probably found e papers doubly hard! (not trying to put e other JCs down, but tat is generally wad ll happen...) so cheer up n dun be overly depressed k :)
I mus say i had enjoyed teaching everyone of u in my classes, although i felt i cld have done more. no choice lah, i have to oso take care of e rest of e stds in e cohort... doing all e planning etc... but there again, it is never enuf... hope most of u had enjoyed e times tat we had together as much as i had..
Sounds like a farewell speech to all of u... (my eyes getting a little wet, urs too?)... haha will miss everyone :)
