the one-woman-circus act came down for one nite only...
presenting ally on wheels!
-
jun is a violent person. tj acts cute. only ryan and myself were ....normal. :)

after.

when most were gone... still we drank.
-
a long round of 'circle of death' where some people were wasted. :) i've not that so much to drink for a long long time and i think that and the lack of rest contributed to my current state of weakness. zzzz. i need more rest. heh.

before.

cranium + taboo + drinks
-
so we had drinks at ryan and roy's flat and we also played a mad game of cranium and taboo. loser drinks, but then again everyone drinks anyway. :P

20 July 2005

bewitched.

movienite!
-
steamboat dinner followed by movienite at carousel. was nt too good a show tho, should have caught sin city instead... or even fantastic four another time! erm.... ya. cos ms. alba is woooohoooo! in a way. :P after the shopping cart ride, a top-up at macs saw us heading for king's park war memorial..... totally crazy but fun! an indulgence only cos school's in week one. :)

17 July 2005

my holiday thus ends.

since what goes up (north) must come down (south), that was what i did... :)

when dad and my uncle and friends came over for a week, they decided to take a drive down to albany to visit one of their friends. it was a tiring drive and since we only had two days it would be a rushed one. but i liked it anyways.

on the drive down along albany highway, passing the stirling range on the left, was just wonderful. i really really wanna go there before my time here is up. the tallest peak at the stirling range, bluff knoll, stands at a lil over 1000m and is the only place in WA that one has the chance to possibly experience snow in winter. yups. and it rising out of the relatively flat landscape is simply... slurrrrpp! but i was the one driving ... so no pics were taken. heh :P

then came mount barker where the wonderful plantagenet wines are from. but. i didnt get to visit this time round. :s

albany. home to the albany wind farm (which i saw from afar), the gap and natural bridge, many scenic bays. its such a nice nice place to relax imho. there isnt much to do there, but its good enough for me, thats why i will be back... someday. :)

the next day saw us head for home quite early, going by a different route through denmark and walpole, where the famous treetop walk is. the drive thru the karri forests was nice too, tho not so when one's driving tired. :P another time perhaps, perhaps.

so i reckon i've done enough driving for the next coupla months. and seriously i think the start of sem two will be when i get more time to rest and read. heh. strange but true. :)

and no pom. i aint lazy, just busy working. tsk tsk!

ok sch starts tomorrow!!!!! erm.... woots! heh.

day 2.

denmark and walpole on the way home.

day 1.

down south in albany.

13 July 2005

sunset...

...over the city.
-
and the sun will once again be setting on the winter holidays. the past week or so has been a lil packed. other than a lil work dad was over with my uncle and his friends for a short trip, which means i was driver designate! lots of driving and much too lil rest... :s but all was gd i spose, heh. the last few days i shall do just that..rest n relax! :)
-
hmmm... now to settle some admin stuff and get ready for the coming semester! wooooots!! erm... yeaps. room's in a mess, work's in a mess, so basically my life's in a mess...
-
brb with pics! ;)
-
meanwhile... enjoy the rest of the hols! :P

02 July 2005

about the sky.

the one i saw during the trip and the most beautiful i've seen till now. if only i could capture exactly what i saw and share it with the ppl i love.. such is the beauty of nature. :)

imagine... stars so numerous, skies so bright with them. the wispy white clouds. shooting stars. everything just like it were taken out of the astronomy books you've come across. and seeing it right before your eyes. i loved it, and for me it was the magical moment of the trip. and we were also lucky enough to catch the moonrise that night. and it just so happened that it came up just directly infront of where our cars were parked. an orange-y moon rising to a jet black sky, slowly brightening the sky and washing out the glow of the stars.

i believe i would call that something that happens once in a blue moon. erm.. make that an orange one. :)

i live. i like. i lust for.
the wonders of nature
till next time...

work work work!

week one of the hols is over.. just like that! not good... not good at all. results will be out soon and that spells double trouble. shall enjoy the coming week the best i can. ;)

the ups and downs of life have come to a low point but one that will be ending soon. hopefully soon enough. time to rally the defenders for strength! wooooohoooooooo..... i must be overly tired. for i am blabbering... :P

to rest. to re-energise. to live life.
