CottageCutz Witch Cake Plate

Believe it or not, a few years ago, Cracker Barrel had a cake plate almost just like this.   Isn't this just darling.  It's CottageCutz time and I am showing you today this die called Witch Cake Plate.  Maybe next year I will use this die and host another Halloween Tea Party.  This would be a perfect image for an invitation.  I have had a Halloween Tea Party before and it was such a blast.
I cut out all the pieces from the die and distressed them with Brushed Corduroy distress ink and assemble the pieces.  I applied glossy accents to the "cover" to make it look like glass.  Martha Stewart Spider Punch around the page was used to accent the focal point and I used spellbinders for the corners and applied purple rhinestones in the centers.
This is was so much fun to make.  I just love CottageCutz dies.  They are a lot of fun to work with and very easy to assemble.   Just a reminder that we are looking for some Guest Designers so be sure to check out the information at the top of the CottageCutz blog.  Thanks for stopping by today and viewing my creation.  I really appreciate it.  This is the die that I used:

Vintage Floret Truck

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.  We are working with the Vintage Floret Collection this month.   This collection is so beautiful.  The flowers are a dream to work with.
For my card I used an image from the Vintage Floret Paper collection.  I just love this truck and it matches the stamp from The Classic Edition set.  When I was younger I drove a truck for several years and loved it.  This image reminds me of those days.  I love the pink tires.  I think if I could purchase pink tires for my present vehicle -I would.  It's funny, when I was younger I wanted a Mustang so bad but my parents wouldn't let me purchase one.  So I got a truck.  Not a vehicle that you would see a girl own.  Now that I am older I finally have my Mustang which is a hand-me-down from my oldest son.  I really should be driving a truck.....lol

Heartfelt Creations Woven Vintage Floret Card

The Vintage Floret release is a beautiful collection of ancient luxury. This month’s paper release is similar to the wallpaper of a quaint Parisian café. The textured flower stamps add a quiet delicacy to every project. The typography is a delightful combination of botanical growth and grandmother’s old typewriter stored away in the attic.
There are 5 new PreCut Stamp Sets, one 12x12 Paper Collection, and one beautiful new exclusive Spellbinders die designed for Heartfelt Creations. Leave a comment on the HC blog by October 16th and you will be eligible to win the entire release valued at $134.93 .
My creations was inspired by last weeks "Try a New Technique" challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers called woven background.  That is one of my favorite challenges.
Here you can see the pretty flowers that have a vintage look to them.  Please be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog to enter to win and to see all the other fabulous creations by the talented design team.

CottageCutz Victorian Bird Bath Card

It's Cottage Cutz at The Scrapping Cottage time!  Today I have created a card with the Victorian Bird Bath die.  I love playing with these dies.  It's so relaxing to cut and piece the dies into beautiful images.  I painted my image and flowers with Tattered Angels Glitter Glam in Twinkle Toes.  It not only sparkles but has a nice glimmer.

Rangers Distress Ink was used to color the images.  The Victorian Bird Bath was done with Tea Dye and the trim in Brushed Corduroy.  The birds and flowers were done in Dusty Concord.  The leaves are Peeled Paint.
Here is the die I used to create this card. Isn't it so pretty and sweet. It is from the Victorian Garden Collection by CottageCutz that you can find here.  Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!
