and age is showing. literally. How sad.
2011 things to look back on..1) phuket trip - went with colleagues. tried snorkeling for the 1st time and drank lots of seawater, got terrified by hungry ferocious fishies. my colleagues were apparently so amused by my shrieks whenever the schools of dunno-fish came near me that they kept throwing bread in my direction. so nice of them. of cos and visited the overated phi phi islands, which was disappointing. not worth my 2 hr fof sea sickness as it had been raining while we were there .but oh wells trip was still enjoyable :)
- rented a car to roam phuket town (hello premium outlets and night market!)
- white water rafting and elephant trekking (fun!)
- snorkeling (fun!)
- phi phi islands (erm)
- stayed at a resort which had an interesting concept for occupants. an integrated room and toilet, no holds barred. imagine my embarrassment when i had the runs from eating roadside stalls.

2) uss trip - went first with shift mates, and 2nd time with my momo. still love it nonetheless :)
galatica was excitingly hellish, and 4D transformers was great.

3) dnd. which i unfortunately kena-ed arrow to be 1 of the dnd pixies. anw besides being quite useless for us 6 girls for the 2 days procession, i had the opp to hold the lucky draw bowl *beam*! the guest of honour was our US CEO steve appleton who had to get the winning tics from me me me. wow my half and hour of fame. he's quite shuai in the flesh! haha
4)Malacca road trip
tot it was fun when 12 of us hit the roads to malacca with 3 dedicated and rich drivers. food was good and generally cheaper there. every meal was practically a bingeing fest.

5) genting
not a fan of genting. dislike it in fact. if not for the cheap price and the company i wouldnt tink of going again for many reasons such as safety, and obvious lack of entertainment other than the amusement park. dont ever jio me to go genting again pls.

6) countless jb trips
now i know more of JB besides custom and city square. all thanks to the cheap petrol which has enticed many singaporean drivers to go in. most of the time i went with bong, and aha! discovered the legendary curry fishead. will intro any who wants to taste it!

7) work related fun
biggest enjoyment stems from my compressed shift. love the many off days! beside the leave perks, colleagues are also my pull factors. it feels like being back in school, with majority of them being new graduates. there's no need to guard against each other and so much easier to niao each other to get things done. but.. still wonder if my stay here is wothwhile other than these reasons. reassessment to be done in aug.
7)catching up with my beloved pri/sec/jc/uni friends
