these few days have been feeling kinda down. i wonder why. is it the tuition loan scare? is it cos my 2nd bro is enlisting? or is it the fact tt i'm gg to school in amatter of a few weeks?

Actually i realised i have always been a very pessismistic and 'secretive' person deep down. i always bury my inner thoughts and fears with me. i have lots of them. Too much i think. it often leads me to really dread whats gg to happen next. Haha, ask my closest pals, and they'll tell you my ultimate dream is to die before 30. or is it to own my own provision shop? Ha..why? cos i'm an escapist. Always trying my best to escape from the reality.

i'm back! i'm so so glad to be back in singapore. Even the weather here is heaven to me :) this trip to china certainly is kinda disappointing:( i'll advice fellow singaporeans to go there for our national education. but dun go there for shopping! unless you like chinese brands like 'wei bao bao', on your tops :X

One thing for sure, china's really developing FAST. modern sophiscated buildings, condos are sprouting EVERYWHERE! and i'm not talking about shanghai alone. developments in Wuxi, nanjing hangzhou suzhou is catching up on Singapore.. i always had the misconception before the trip, that only cities like shanghai or beijing, the living standards will be decent. i'm WRONG! all their toilets have doors too !and.. they are clean! (mostly) ~horrors~

But i honestly have bad vibes abt china. the tour is so screwed up. our time to sightseeing is only abt half.the rest of the time they'll bring us to their "guo dian" (National Shop aka tourist trap) to buy their national products. wa lau, wonderful PRC. they have so many guo dians loh! for Pearl, jade, zhisa pot, longjin tea, jewellry, silk pdts blah blah. is there a nationalised shop for toilet bowls? Even my tour guide, jason and the province guides double up as sales people to pyscho us buy their pdts. cos they earn commission for bringing flying cash (innocent tourists) to these shops. the prices are exorbidant! pricier than SG's. and these trips are mandatory! the cty is one big scam la. you can trust no one.

Everywhere in these guo dians i see innocent tourists from SG and taiwan getting conned by those chinese sale spple who wonderously have good sales tactics. i salute them.i cant force myself to sell time magazine:X well they are good in talking and they sure are PERSISTANT. wa lau, i was at the guo dian for their crystal balls ( LOL! ) the salesgirl even waited for my father outside the toilet.they SIMPLY do not get the msg tt you do not want to buy. just like how you can nv wack a xiao qiang to die.(da bu si de zhang lang) and thanks to them, my parents actually spent a bomb on tea, jewellry and blankets(lol) will you spend $500 on tea leaves? my parents did :( they con pple with a glib tongue. and the tea leaves only cos at most $50 outisde! :( i hate the salespeople:(

the people there are RUDE. esp shanghainese. i think my family were 10000 times much more polite than the average chinese over there. there's no such thing as a queue over there. you get to the shop first you win. i know i shouldnt compare but in singapore, at least if you glare or confront, the guilty person will always buckle under pressure. but it isnt the case over there! our shanghai tour guide(he looks like a s'pore ah beng with shaggy hair:X ) says even though china wins singapore with its city majestic architecture, they can never catch up with singapore in terms of quality of its people. which i feel is true from the way chinese act and carry themselves.

their roads and traffic is a MESS. i cant even cross the road when the green man is on. cars are King over there.i finally know why Ma lu ru hu kou.~shudders~ the weather is scorching. 38 degrees man! is the extent of 'hot' tt you feel as if you feel like ba gua.. burnt pork. good gracious for the many bubble tea kiosks all ard the city.

anyway, this trip didnt totally suck la.. at least the Food there is cheap cheap cheap! you can eat like kings and queen with less than 4 in your pocket. ajisen cost only like 3SGD over there!(SG seeling at 10.50 per bowl!) a mac meal costs lesser than student meal X) tt's why i'm VERY fat now. hahaha.

i'm so unlucky these days. one event after another in a matter of 2 months. Let me recall the spate of weird events tt befall on me since april.

1)April- cam, hp and money stolen.
Have involved a mass number of ppl in this event (the bukit batok CC staff, contractor company, PA ppl, and the police) There goes my money and hp. but what was gratifying was the sneaky thief didnt get away scot- free. recently just received a letter from the Police. He was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. sigh. hope he learns as i did.
Moral of the story? dont be silly like me, leave ur enticing bag unattended! A very painful price!

2)May- my replacement Hp(my dad's) was spoilt (temporarily. phew!!)
why? cos stupid me bought shampoo and place in my bag with my hp without realising the cap has come loose. shucks. sent it for repair for 30 bucks even thou the market price for the OLD samsung phone is even LESS than tt. but saving myself from my dad's constant reprimandings is MUCH more important than the money. ha..
Moral of the Story? Let your mum do the buying.

3)May- my uni postings.
one word. SUAY. cant even go to any course of my choice. and i mean all 3 unis. haiz. to think that my a levels's grades were considered so-so. apparently not good enough. so i'm off to do more math and physics for the rest of my life.woo hoo!pop the party poppers!

5) June (RECENTLY) - i was CONNED
the moment i tink of it, the lower my self esteem gets. My 14 yrs of education apparently did not help me decipher and to see pass those sales gimmicks. can u imagine? i bot a "speed" camera for $430. and the pics are not even sharp. ok, i'm stupid. tt's everyone's 1st reaction to my stupid decision. i totally agree. i'm downright stupid.

PLEASE go courts or harvey norman or some reputable stores. dun go those shops in orchard area or sim lim even if prices are damn cheap. they are out to CHOP and CHEAT u.

When i wanted to refund or exhange my marvelous speed cam they jack up all the prices of digi cams. by $100 to 200 for the various models! Unscrupulous and devious huh?

credits to my xiao jiu and family fren lawrence,we can played them at their own game. i exchanged for a casio ex-z60 through carefully crafted plans of our own. HA! out smarting lowly ah bengs whose intelligience can be measured with the extent of their hokkien vocabulary, is a piece of cake.

Fuck (woops!) those unruly ah bengs. I am going to buy up all your branches to save fellow innocent singaporeans and ah mohs when i earn my big bucks. soon i tell you! i'm going to fire all those fucking(woops!) ah bengs and hire clean looking uncles :D i have a liking to kind friendly fatherly salespeople :)

the past few weeks have been busy working at the bookfair with emitasia and helping at my uncle's company. THOROUGHLY WORN OUT! GRrrr...

Emitasia pays me and ham like a blangah :( maybe even less. HELLO, $30 for 11 hours which makes it 2 plus per hour! Dirt-cheap Labour! but at least i have her as my company, which is not TOO BAD =) waHAHA, we made full use of our time there to SHOP, EAT and Make stampers for ourselves!!u cant expect us to slog like shit for only 2 plus, rite ? :)
Whaha we were supposed to be IRRITATING SALESPERSON but we became IRRITATING FLYER DISTRIBUTORS! kekeke.. eh.. to think abt it, other flyer ditributors actuallt earn more than us :(

then i job hopped to my uncle's company for 4 days! haha, had to call pple of high positions on the list. there was a person called Monday Lee. hmm.. interesting! maybe i shall call myself Friday Lee? haha.. anyway, its quite a funny job with a cute aunty called Jenny. haha, we'll always skive tgt when big boss go away for a while. =)

Really cant take this job. I hate it to the core. this is the worst job i have in my life. pretending to do sth, when there's virtually nth to do.. ok, perhaps i do have, but i refuse to do any callings.
i tried calling 4 companies, and 1 receptionist ended up scaring and leaving me speechless. i tot irritaing telesurveyors shld intimidate the receptionist and not the other way round. Apparently, i'm not. AH!!

I'm underpaid! Paid me peanuts to risk heart attacks during callings. I bet they pay the agency $8 per hr and above.But i'm only receiving a portion of it. the company looks so damn well off la. Ok tt's not the main point, but i'm calling CEOS, directors!! hello!! i'm only a temp staff. i'm not as shrew as the rest of u. Cut me some slack, will u? And stupid agency, P serv. nv brief me abt anything. If i knew, its gg to be that hard with so little pay and so many demands, i wouldnt have taken up this sickening job.

THE job lasts for 7 i mean 6 (hehe) days.. Shucks la. MAybe i shld just pon in btw.. or tell my supervisors straightaway tt i'm not competent enuf for the job? Ask them to terminate my contract with them! woopee! that's the best scenerio!! at least i do not have to compensate that damn agency. Argh! still feel as if i've been conned.

After tt went to meet up with ms in town!! shop! shop! shop! oh my gosh, tink my shopping urge is back. gotta hold on till great SG sale! phew, lucky we both didn't spend too much tt day, even thou ms, has achieved her 10th top in the month already :P i spent bulk of my money on MTM eye collagen mask ($60 only. retails at $180 *_* ) for my dad thru meet up with a podder. pretty career woman.

21st april (my b'day), afternoon met up with tackey and bee at settler's cafe! highly reccomended! on a sidenote,bee's just went for a rebonding session with the highly raved jurong west aunty in FP in the morning. really nice! smooth silky. i find it not too flat too. but for one thing bee has thick hair ..
Anyway we played and ate at the cafe! really grateful that ms came specially today thou she doesnt have2 work..The western food really delicious too! ate chicken chop(pepper sauce a tad too heavy), but the fish and chips is really nice!! card games (food chain, fruits) then zombie, transamerica. We lost track of time man! its really fun! :) after that have to bid them goodbye..

Evening, met up with my class pals at the cafe. the pple i stick with in my JC yrs :) Really touched tt they turned up. and grace came too!! earliest also. we loitered and explored holland V while waiting for the rest. hey i'm soo tempted to come holland V again! i want to go FOS again.. the tees look so pretty.. i find that for big groups may not be in for board games.. cos the wait for one's turn is too long and pple tend to drift off.. so we ended playing card games throughot. oh my gosh, i really shi tai yesterday. cant help it!!i was very very ji dong with the card games..to tink of it, its really very embarrasing..hope nobody else notice our table :P Thanks ms, for the cake and the drink!! =D really special and delicious! love it lots, thou i was so full tt my tummy almost burst. Whew...

Haiz.. was just browsing through school talk forum. Argh! Many of the pple who applied for courses like accoutancy @NTU and SMU has already been called up for interviews.

For me, only SMU has called me for interview for accountancy. i'm Scared.. so many people are applying for the same course. but out of the many, only a few will be shortlisted =(

Heard tt some have already received their rejection letters and some, accceptance letters. Shixian got into Pyschology already. Congrats! Tackey got called for interview with medicine and dentistry already.. seems like alot of administrative work is underpipe.

The results will be out soon? when?

Sniff! my job has officially ended already. Though when i'm on the job, i always grumble like a old aunty but to tink of it.. Really will treasure the times with my colleagues(lao sa, Chewy and CC uncles aunties). Skiving, pigging out in the pantry, makeup session and gossiping.. haiz.guess tian xia wu san zhi yan xi (wadever ) =/

After lunch at Sandy 's dad's stall, we went Bugis V,
i bought 2 ringer tees and 1 blouse(comes with free faux black pearls!).
sandy bot belt,puma shoes(cheap cheap!), anklet.
Chew bot denim skirt and ringer tee!

Managed these damages in 1 hr's time.. Ha, given more time, we would have spent even more =X

haha, guess they were quite impressed with my bargaining prowess. Thats one aspect of aunty tt i'm ok with! haha, quite sad to say. BUT hey i saved 7 to 8 for all of us *Proud*
was abit awkward with kaixin +wanzhen. it has been such a long time since we all worked together. but anyway, we still had a kick taking neo prints (^_^)

these few days have been busy with the uni apllication.

For all these schools, put almost the same thing:
Accountancy,business,engineering(i dun like),arts and social science(my gp sucks) etc

dun really like SMU but my bro wants me to just try (at e expense of $15)
Whats the difference btw courses offered at NTU and NUS? i'm still so unclear of the distinction btw the 2 :(

but phew at least i already paid for the applications to NTU and NUS! deadline is coming soon!

haiz! tmr have some stupid job training @ CPF building at 9.30 am. so early! i'm all alone this time. last time i went, tackey and puayhoon was with me. Argh!! then after tt still have2 head back to BB cc to work. haiz,at least i'm paid for all these. thankfully. hmm.. my job's drawing to n end very soon. by 15th april. wa.. this timing means i can still go find some work, slack for 2 to 3 months @ home is too unhealthy! but really quite tired of working life already :(

Shucks la.. tink i got my shopping urge back.

these few months i could say has been quite fruitful..

after my a's, i went ahead to work @emitasia. e environment was quite fun and cosy though there are alot of friction between ppl. Quite sad when people can just compete for the sake of money. What abt friendships? guess no one cares abt it when money is concerned. Anyway, i got e $80 me2u bear! haha,my souvenir!

then i went to work @ a florist w the help of ham. very fun! inside the shop or out there standing was equally enjoyable. The work is quite menial but i liked it! it doesnt even feel like i'm working. i feel like i'm helping my mum with the chores. i hope every other job will be like this! ah..the pretty flowers. thanks vilia and tackey for visiting me =) was really touched when both of them came n accompanied for hours by just standing there n chat with me..

after tt worked tt freelance data entry job. v boring. and the bosses simply sucks

and finally to my present job.CPF customer service officer. sounds quite awe-inspiring? But they are paying me to sit there n read mags n books.. at first it felt heavenly. now it is so difficult to pass time!shucks shouldn't complain so much. its only until either 1st april or 15 th of april. so.. might as well enjoy rest o e time there..

just called and really blew my top. WAD THE HELL? DIDNT PAY ME COS 2 of MY CLOZE PASSAGE DID WRONG FORMAT AND GAVE ZERO FOR THAT 2 PAPERS!?!?!
HELLO. Its only 10 question and 1 passage out of the 90 questions and 6 COMPREHENSION passages.

and guen she's paid only HALF cos not up to standard ??????

Sat (today) - went to have breakfast @kopiRoti with tackey n bee! yum yum kaya toast!
after tt went to tackey's house bai nian! haha, curled our hair with her hair
curler =) and saw alot of her photos!alot of my pri school memories came flooding
back. Shuyan,stephanie,jiamin etc.. really wonder how r they doing rite now?
