Summer time Fun!!!

Chloe Ann is our little budding conversationalist. Everything is what cha doing now? Where you going? Whats dad doing? You picking me up at school today? Can we go to the store? ect....She doesnt ask why so mcu, just full blown questions about every little thing thats happening. Her sleeping in the big girl bed has gone great. She went through a little stage wtih one more drink, cover me up ect. But now seems to have gotten over that. She has been diaper free during the day for 4 wks now with only one accident!!! I was telling the teacher at daycare one day how she goes for hrs at home dry, and we were putting underwear on her on the weekends. She said "then start sending underwear in"!!! So I hesitantly said ok, thinking this was going to be aweful. Nope, she suprised yet again and has only had that one accident which the teacher says was really her fault. So here we are, almost potty trained I would say. Almost overnight. She only wears diapers at night, and I think that might take a bit, but I will take it!! Even when we go to resturants or the mall she is good and will sit on the big potty. Growing up!!
She has decided, all on her own that jon and I are now "mom" and "dad". Not sure where she got this, we dont reffer to each other that way. She will say "mom" are we going to the store". Seems to youg to hear that all ready......

Here she is below "mowing the lawn" with daddy. She loves to be outside. All day long if we let her.

One of her most favorite things is riding her bike. She loves this! up and down the driveway. She has been able to pedel for months now, but just learning how to turn. She loves to go on big bike rides with mommy and daddy. Of course we stop at a playground and somtimes stop for icecream to share. To many dairy queens around!!

Below are some picture from the Ride for Roswell. This is a annual ride for cancer research. This was our first time riding this year with a team from my work. We raised $250. Next yr we shoot for more. We did a 3mike ride which was for families and small kids. next yr we will kick that up too!! they went to slow! Maybe the 8 or 20....

Funny story that happened just today. She was suposed to be taking a nap...since big girl bed for 2 months she has never gotten out of bed. Today we hear some thumps.....I open up the bedroom door and walk in. Its dark and I cant see her, I slip on something on the floor. Look down, there is lotion all over the floor, smeared. She was standing behind the door from when it opened, I had her come out.....she had lotion as thick as possible all over her legs, arms and hands. Even some on her face!!!! It was like caked on!!! I am trying to tell her how naughty it was, while trying t keep a straight face...but the scene was hysterical. She just stood there looking shocked that we had caught her. I wanted so bad to take a picture to blog it, but instead I maintained the teaching moment and explained why we dont do this. She had an entire bottle of lotion squeezed out on the floor and on her arms and legs, and all over her clothes. I failed to mention that she scaled the changing table, that I now use as storage, got to the top tier, 3 lvels up to get the lotion. All this in the dark!!!! This crazy kid....

THis is a video on her bike, hope this shows up ok....
