Fun times in Destin

Chloe loves every second at the beach and never stops!  She loves the water, sand, and the friends.  She provides sandy snow cones to all and begs anyone to be in the water with her.  She already has a collection of shells.  In the pool she swims alone(with life jacket).  On the other hand, Wyatt is not a true beach bum yet.  He just doesn't like the sand and would rather be at the pool or in the condo.  He gets better everyday, so there is hope for him!

August

These two cool dudes model new shirts from Marcia and Laura.

Wyatt loves to play outside and is quite proud that he slides all by himself.  He started daycare and even though he cries when his moma leaves him, he enjoys himself.  Of course he eats and sleeps well why he is there! Chloe relishes her big sister role and insists on taking him to his room.  On the first day he ran to see her on the playground and got mad at the fence between them.  When asked what he did, Chloe said, "he ran off and went down the slide."

Chloe started Tiny Tots this year.  She remains at the daycare she's been attending, but has a special class for pre-school.

Both are full of energy, love, and fun.

July 4th in Malvern

Chloe and Wyatt wearing patriotic shirts, celebrated the holiday with a backyard cookout.  Special guests were great-grandparents, Nat and Bob.  Chloe put-on performances and poses to entertain us and convinced Bob to join her.   It took some persuasion from the audience to get her to share a magic wand with Bob, but you can see in the picture below that it improved his performance.   Grandad grilled for us and we topped off the day with ice cream in honor of Chloe (she was still on liquid diet). On Sunday, we all went to Nat and Bob's on the lake for a final picnic in a fun weekend.  At the Atrium, Wyatt became quite fond of wheelchair rides!

Not fun in June

Chloe gives us a weak thumbs up after her surgery June 11 at Arkansas Children's Hospital.  Repair work was done on her palate.  After three weeks of only liquids, she enjoyed her first chicken strip.  She will be happy to never drink another Pediasure!

Fun in June

Grandad and I spent the weekend with Chloe and Wyatt.  Wyatt showed off his driving skills and Chloe showed us how she teaches her mom about shapes.  When it was time to go shopping, Chloe carried her new purse and Wyatt carried his snack cup.

How Sweet is This?!

Chloe is reading to Wyatt and he is snuggling his favorite blankie.
