New Guns Track "Shackler's Revenge" in Rock Band 2?

Video game blog Kotaku is reporting the rumored track list for Rock Band 2 and low and behold, Guns N Roses is listed as song #28...The exciting part is the track is titled "Shackler's Revenge"...check it out. (http://kotaku.com/397936/rumor-dueling-rock-band-2-tracklists)

This track seems closely tied to estranged guitarist Buckethead who produced a track for a Dragon Ball Z game entitled "Shackler"...who Shackler is and what revenge he seeks is unknown to earthlings at this time, but hopefully more to come soon.

Having never heard this new track rumored before it's a direct reminder that Chinese Democracy is still a complete mystery. Axl has over four albums worth of material recorded and die hard fans are only familiar with about 12-15 song titles.

Hopefully this mystery will come to an end soon. If Shackler's agent is out there, drop me a line, I'll send you some Dr Pepper...

Leaks must frustrated Axl, but display his brilliance

For Axl Rose and the members of Guns N Roses that have worked so hard over the years on Chinese Democracy, it must be extremely frustrating when their music leaks out prematurely. Not only do leaks hamper their ability to properly market and promote the music how they see fit, but the tracks themselves usually appear in demo form. It’s like pulling back that curtain to reveal an incomplete sculpture. No artist wants to show his/her work until they are ready and satisfied with the final product.

Axl has spent years tinkering with perfection, and to many, they will take new music from him in whatever form it appears. So leaked demos are heavenly occurrence for guns fans…The latest leaks maybe demos, but they are the best sounding demos I have ever heard. If I were a betting man I’d say these songs are 90% there, add some more Bumblefoot, adjust the sound levels here and there, bring Axl’s vocals up a bit in certain parts and call it a day.

Will Chinese Democracy live up to the hype? Will the wait have been worth it? Did Axl take Guns N Roses in the right direction? After listening to what I suspect is the much-hyped track Prostitute, the answer to all of those questions is unequivocally - YES!

New Guns N Roses songs hit the net tonight

Tonight I got a phone call from an ecstatic GNR fan screaming that Chinese Democracy had leaked...While not exactly true, 2 never-before-heard tracks surfaced, and I must say, they are absolutely awesome. There's a bittersweet moment when you hear a new GNR track. Part of me wants it more than anything, but part of me is sad because it means the wait is almost over. For diehard GNR fans, the wait is something that connects us all, and when the album drops, we'll lose that strong connection. Of course, it will be replaced by a new connection we all have to the new material, but still, something we've shared for over a decade will die. There's only one way to cure the sadness - you guessed it - DR PEPPER!!!! We're close people, I can hear the soda's beginning to pop.

BELIEVE.

Million Dollar Offer to Axl! Um, wait, just a thousand...

It's been confirmed by multiple sources now that the VH1 story I was sent was in fact incorrect. Seems a fan offered a $1,000, not a million. Only off by $999,000. Ant thus the wonder that is internet news these days, you never know what to believe.

MAN WILLING TO PAY BIG BUCKS TO HEAR AXL
We recently reported that Dr Pepper would give everyone in America a free soda if Axl Rose releases the long delayed Guns N’ Roses album Chinese Democracy by the end of the year. Now, a wealthy fan is sweetening the soda-pop pot. According to an online post, the eager fan wrote, “I am willing to pay one-million dollars to charity if Guns N’ Roses, their management or other ‘interested parties’ provide me with a previously unleaked demo off of the band’s long-awaited Chinese Democracy. It must be in its entirety – and with Axl’s vocals. I am willing to pre-pay in advance via Paypal.” No word Axl or is people have accepted the offer. Guns N’ Roses has reportedly been working on Chinese Democracy since 1995.

Slash responds to Dr Pepper (he's apparently a baseball fan)

In a recent interview, British rock pub “MOJO” asked Slash what his feelings were about getting snubbed by Dr Pepper. His reply has left both music fans and baseball aficionados wondering, which left fielder has Dr Pepper replaced?

What do you think about Slash not getting a Dr Pepper?

We sent Baz some Dr Pepper

A few weeks ago Sebastian Bach conducted an interview with a Tampa radio station where he discussed Velvet Revolver and Guns N Roses. This statement caught our attention:

"I'm very close friends with Axl, and he sings three songs on my new record. I think Dr. Pepper owes me a case of free soda!"

Not only have we hooked Baz up with a ton of Dr Pepper, but we also included some cool gear that we hope makes its way into his wardrobe. The stuff is almost as cool as his Pantera shirt, but not quite.

Baz has been great to the Guns fans over the years. He delivers us news every once in a while, even described what the new song "Sorry" sounds like (although describing what a song sounds like is sort of like feeling something to determine its color; but we have to take what we get). I saw Baz rock out with Guns at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC at the warm up gigs for the last tour. Awesome stuff. Enjoy your Dr P Baz, you've definitely earned it.
