Nothing says summer like a backyard fire and s'mores. Now that the weather is finally warm enough here in the arctic tundra to be outside we spend most of our time outdoors. We can't for one minute take this beautiful weather for granted so we don't. We got the fire pit out, invited friends over and did s'mores!

Popsicles in the Park
We had a little end of school celebration with a bunch of our friends and had popsicles and played at the park. It was a great way to kick off our summer break. We honestly have THE best friends here in Rochester. A few of them are moving away and we hate to even think or talk about it. We are just glad our paths have crossed!
Our Kindergarten Graduate
Could it possibly be true? Is my oldest done with Kindergarten? I can't believe it, but I love it. Carson really excelled this year in so many ways. He absolutely loves math, science, and reading. He tells me all the time those are his favorite subjects which I am so grateful for because I struggled with all of those. He had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Heidi Brown who made learning so much fun. Almost everyday after school I would ask him how his day was and without fail he would say..."AWESOME." He was so sad when I told him school was over. He really thrives in the classroom and he can't wait for 1st grade. I hope the enthusiasm continues through the summer! He had two of his very best friends in his class as well, Benson Miller and Max Allen. The are they cutest 3 Amigos.

Last Day of Preschool for the Little Miss
Bailey has grown so much this year in preschool. I gotta be honest I was a little worried about her because she is one of the youngest in the class but she did awesome! She really loved every minute of it which I am very surprised. She isn't always a fan of new things but I guess because this was "her" thing, she was great! She had THE cutest teachers and great friends in the class that made the year just fabulous. I was able to go to the last day of school for game day with her cute little class. Definitely the highlight of my week. I just love these little kids! Especially mine!

Bye Bye Binkies!
For months now we have been talking to Bailey about getting rid of her binky. She tells us, "When I am older I will get rid of it" That is her answer to everything she doesn't want to do. Love that girl. Anyway she planned to give it to Chill for Father's Day but then decided she wasn't ready. The day after Father's Day she talked all day about having a party and cutting up her binkies. I went along with it telling her we could but thinking when it came right down to it she would NEVER do it. Well we were in the middle of FHE and she said she was ready to cut them up so we stopped everything and had her get the binkies. She even got her favorite on which I was beyond shocked. She passed them out to everyone and let us all take turns cutting up a binky and then she threw them away. She was beyond proud of herself and just kept saying "I'm a big girl now!" So there you have it. That was way too easy and painless!
