Twilight Mishap!

So, I was all excited to get my new DVD of Twilight. But, as I was looking at the Twilight website they said that they had a soundtrack CD/DVD combo. The soundtrack had 5 additional songs that are not on the original release of the soundtrack and it had music videos and interviews with some of the bands and what not and so I thought "Cool! I want that!" because I LOOOOOVE the music and so I wanted both. Anyway, so I'm on the site ordering it and getting so excited. They send me a confirmation e-mail telling me that my package is on it's way. They sent a picture of it and a little description and I noticed that something was not quite right. Upon further review the DVD is of the music videos and interviews and not of the movie. I just assumed (which we all know what that means) that because the movie came in a 2 disc that one would be of the movie and one would be of all the other stuff. Turns out that this is only the DVD of the music videos and not the movie. WAAAAAAH! So, as of the writing of this post I do not have a copy of the movie OR the soundtrack and I am about to blow my brains out because I want to watch it and everybody has it but me and just thinking about it makes my chest go tight and my heart beat is accelerating and I'm starting to breathe rapidly..... Ok, I'm alright now. I'll get the movie soon. Don't worry about me, I'll be alright. So, until next time...hopefully I'll have better news for everyone!

So close I can almost taste it! My last two quotes are on scrapbook pages that I'm working on right now. I'm trying to get them done to post tomorrow.

I was on Stephenie's website yesterday and she talked about a little event that is going on in Arizona. Long story short there is going to be an auction of some Twilight paraphenalia to raise money for a charity. She mentioned that one of the things up for auction was a "fluffy epilogue from her book Forever Dawn." Anybody know what she's talking about?

I can't believe how close we are getting to Saturday!! Here's today's quote-well, there's actually two of them but they are from the same situation. Different people-same situation: "Alice got to me." and the second one: "Alice wouldn't let us do anything else. Every time we tried, she all but ripped our throats out." Same old story- who said it (them)? what book? situation? Good luck and Happy St. Patty's Day! Did you like my little thing up top? Don't laugh at the cropping of the heads. This was my first time doing anything like this and I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. See you tomorrow!

6...5...

Today is a double whammy because I didn't do one yesterday on account of it being Sunday. Even though I probably could have done one yesterday because I was home from church with Nathan. He's sick with a nasty cough and yucky cold and he hasn't been sleeping very well. Which means that I'm not sleeping well either. Oh well. Such is life right? Anyway, Valerie is the only one who commented on the last post and got it right. So Congrats to Val! You've got to be quick on the draw if you want to beat her! So, today there will be a quote and then a little trivia question. If there are multiple right answers then I will put the names of those who participated in a bowl and draw out the winner. Ok, this one was a toughy because there are so many good quotes out there! "Nothing is impossible. Except what you want. You'll never touch her." 1) who said it? 2) which book? 3) what's the situation? Trivia question: What is Stephenie Meyers' birthday?

Congrats to Valerie for getting all three questions right on yesterday's quote! I'll give you your prize when you come for Katie's shower. Ok, here's today's quote..."Get some sleep, Bells. You've got to get your head working. I know you can do this. I need you to understand. I won't lose you, Bella. Not for this." Same rules as yesterday 1)who said it? 2) which book? and 3) what's the situation? Good luck!

Who said this..."Mostly I dream about being with you forever." What's the situation in which this conversation took place and what book is it from? Be the first to answer those three questions correctly and win a sweet treat.

There is a great article about Stephenie Meyer that will be appearing in a magazine (this early in the morning I have forgotten the name) and it is fabulous! Go to her website www.stepheniemeyer.com and read it. I think that you will enjoy it. It's so nice to know that these "big celebrities" are just ordinary people too. Can you imagine how it must be to write a book and just have it explode like Harry Potter and the Twilight series? To go from ordinary to extraordinary all because you sat down and wrote out an idea? I've been trying to think what I would write about to get there myself. So that's the question for today. If you were going to write a best-seller what would it be about? Who knows? Maybe you will be the next J.K. Rowling or Stephenie Meyer!

So there's 10 days until the Twilight DVD comes out and I thought that I'd mark each day with Twilight news, quotes, discusssions, whatever. So, yesterday I read that Dakota Fanning is going to be playing the part of Jane. Not sure how I feel about that. I like Dakota Fanning but does she really fit the part of Jane? I guess they've done pretty well with the rest of the cast so I should just give them the benefit of the doubt, but still...a 15 year old? Oh well, it is a teen-book so why not a teen right? I'm trying not to stress about it too much because there are way more important things to worry about-like whether or not Drew Barrymore is going to direct Eclipse ( NO!! Please NO!!! Anything but that!!). I feel like I'm in High School again worrying about petty things like this...it's kind of refreshing to worry about petty things rather than worrying about the big stuff like the economy and where our next meal is going to come from. So how about you? What are your thoughts about Dakota Fanning playing the part of Jane?

Pay it Forward

I got this idea from my friend A'Lisha's blog. I am so excited to do it!!This is how it works..... The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. BUT, in order for you to leave a comment on my blog, you have to post this on your blog first. (That means that sometime during this year you will send a gift to 3 people as well.) Get it? So, the first 3 people to comment on this post will be the lucky ones! And don't worry, those of you who left a comment on my post about hair ideas I haven't forgotten about you. I'll be posting that later today.
