i accomplished a great feat yesterday!

spot the difference? yes, my jigsaw puzzle's finally completed! YAY. i never thought it could be possible to finish piecing everything together, and i was so sure that at least one piece was missing! the other time my maid told me she found a jigsaw piece lying around somewhere while she was vacuuming the floor. i almost died when i heard that. what if some of my jigsaw pieces got eaten up by the vacuum cleaner! so yesterday, when i finally had the mood to save the puzzle from collecting any more dust, it was totally nerve-wrecking when i couldn't find the right pieces to fit those holes. all the while i was psychoing myself that since i already pieced such a huge part of the puzzle together without any missing pieces, chances are lower that the missing piece belongs to the smaller part that's not done yet! but then again, that may be precisely why that part is left undone! because some crucial piece is missing! okay so i was getting very confused between convincing myself that i wouldn't end up with an incomplete puzzle and panicking even more. thankfully, all 1500 pieces are intact :) i think i derive joy from imagining the worst sometimes.
i bought this puzzle during the germany trip in 2005 and it's a picture of the Neuschwanstein castle. it's a very magical place which makes you feel like you're living in a fairytale. hopefully, if nothing goes wrong, it'll be nicely framed up soon. last year i completed a final fantasy 8 puzzle that was so pretty, but the entire thing got soaked in dirty water when my sis' room was flooded because of some pipe that burst. it was goodbye to squall and rinoa after that.
