yesterday read an article on Mr Rajaratnam. the last part of the article was on his epitaph - "Here lies a man. We are sorry that he has left the earth." and he added that "So, somebody feels sorry that i have left - and that's good enough."
i wonder if anybody will feel sorry when i die. but i agree, as long as one has touched at least another person's life within the short time spent on earth, it's really a life worth living. haha, so morbid to speak of death at this age. but then again, life's so unpredictable you never know what will happen the next moment. i hope there's an afterlife beyond death. at least i can then watch over my loved ones, since it is really the living who continue to suffer. at least i can also know the answers to my questions on death.
when i was in p6, my grandma passed away. perhaps it was she who made me believe in the existence of souls. somehow i believe she's always here with us. i don't know, but the sad thing is that memories do fade. maybe someday i'll forget her totally, but like what they say in that vampire show, the heart does have a memory too. when the brain fails, there's still the heart. memories can be erased, but certain feelings will always stay.
lol enough rambling. not that i make any sense anyway. ok today has been a normal schoolday, meaning sian. haha, but i wasnt sleepy at all during bio lecture! first time i actually listened and understood stuff. must be because i've been sleeping so much these few days! sleeping rocks. :D oh and huiwen got me totally addicted to this taiwan drama! the male lead is so shuai! and the girl is so cute! cant wait to finish it!
i wonder, if Time were a living thing and has feelings, wouldn't it feel so miserable? during lectures, time really crawls. everyone (or maybe only me) keeps looking at the clock, willing for time to go faster. when people look back on the past and yearn for the days in primary school and sec school, they complain that time flies. wah, it'll be such a torturous job to accomodate to our changing demands! maybe if we all treat time as another human being and be more considerate towards it, we won't be complaining so much and we'll all be much happier! win-win situation. :)

eventful week
this has been an eventful week!
events events!
vday crosscountry dramafeste moe seminar (-.-)!
warm and cosy feeling to give out and to receive gifts! hope my angel and mortal like their presents. and hope the class likes the notebook from me and wenqi too! lame fun at kap after maths s. whose line is it anyway?
realized how tiring stoning/slacking can be when i was stuck at the announcer's table during crosscountry. haha but at least better than weixuan la, kept getting ordered around to do stuff. =P oh yar and hcanoe girls rock!
other than ares' item, thought the others were quite boring. the third one (forgot whether it's athena or artemis) had a good concept, but i didnt find it engaging enough.
teaching scholarship? still dont think i'll make a good teacher. haha. but good to keep more options open! and i might have a hidden talent for teaching! yeah right. moe edutorium has a really nice ceiling. got pretty stars glittering here and there, very conducive for sleeping! way back from buona vista had early dinner with cihan at westmall's mos burger! piggish gluttons la. :D
oh ya. did you know that on average, 100 people choke to death on ballpoint pens every year? weird.
