chess and bridge chalet

20th december 2005 - chess and bridge chalet! it was really a test of stamina, having to play cards for 12 hours straight! hahaha in the end all of us were stoning in front of the decks of cards. played all kinds of card games. poker, blackjack, daidee, snap, speed, heart attack, hearts, memory game.. and how can i miss out bridge? played german bridge, contract bridge, floating bridge, floating-contract bridge, contract-floating bridge.. whatever it is, all sorts of bridge that one can possibly come up with. and all of us realized how relaxing floating bridge can be. we really took a good break from the draining contract bridge!

the good news was that we actually managed to sustain until 7am! but after that all of us were really too dead to play anything anymore. so we took a nap till 10, when we had to check out of the chalet. boohoo. and guess what? after breakfast at burger king, we actually went to play dota! oh my goodness! dota is like totally out of the girls' league la. it was just three girls and the other nine were guys. -.-

hrmm. dota. it's actually not as bad as we (the girls) thought it would be. quite an interesting game actually. so the three of us split up and joined their teams. learnt how to walk around and attack, windwalk and backstab, then basically just run when there're no creeps of your own team around. and in the end we played three games, switching teams here and there in between the games. haha quite a destructive game, but i think it's definitely more challenging than maplestory. haha at least this time the opponents are more flexible than the mushrooms which just roam around waiting to be killed.

after that we had "lunch" (at 4.30pm) at pizza hut then headed back home for a nice long sleep! it feels great to be home, but i hate the pile of homework that lies right there on my desk.. one thing i can say for sure is, playing dota is definitely more fun than doing homework! ahhaha ok duh right. anything's better than doing homework. :(
