DT showcase Friday 1.30.15

It's Friday, so it's time for some weekend inspiration from our amazing designer Jenn!!!  You can find these images and others in the Chi Chi Memories store here.

Jenn has created this adorable card using the image Tinker Fairy:

 So for this card, I colored Tinker Fairy with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, then added lots of Diamond Stickles to her wings. I fussy-cut her out and attached her with foam dimensional dots. Papers and sticker embellishments are all from Simple Stories.

DT Showcase Tuesday 1.27.15

It's Tuesday and that means time for another designer showcase.  This week our designers have some amazing projects to share with you!

I (Lynda) and Lysa created projects using the Little Fox image:

I (Lynda) created this card:

Little Fox is perfect for any kind of greeting card you may need to make. I embossed white cardstock and then backed it with brown cardstock before adding it to my card base. I then added a strip of the same brown and put the cute little fox image on the strip using foam tape. The card was finished off with some epoxy dots.

This cutie is "Lion Boy." I thought he would be perfect for a Valentine's card since I'm definitely in a Valentines making mood... and he is just adorably perfect for it!!

Here's my take on last month's freebie, our sweet fox image! I colored him with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and used some papers from Stampin' Up! I had those little paw print brads in my stash and printed out the "foxy" label with my Dymo Caption Maker.

I colored this sweet image with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and then fussy-cut her out. My papers are from My Mind's Eye and the buttons are from Stampin' Up! I found the little clear alpha stickers in my bag of odds and ends. These new images are so much fun to play with!

I made this simple card using "Winter Shy Girl" from the latest release. She is just adorable!! I struggle with pinks and reds so this was a challenge for me... being surrounded by DH + 3 boys will do that!!!
