Alan Parsons on the Air

Played this CD (Alan Parsons - On Air) again today after, let's see, 8 years? Hard to believe it's that that long. The album seems to sound better now than it did then.

Interesting concept album about all things about being in the air: airplanes, hot air balloons, the feeling of flying, the Wright Brothers, etc...

Excellent engineering on this album!

The Great Wall of China

Came back from prayer meeting with a very encouraged heart. Wonderful testimonies from Pastors Alan, Mong Yee, Casey and Marion about their recent trip to China. China is indeed a very BIG country with lots of souls, lots of needs. God, please help those people in China! Let all those who seek You find you and meet all their needs!

I Wanna Meet Paddy!

Going to church camp on 29 November, that's about 1 week away. Not really looking forward to it but I'll try my best to have a good time. Lots of work to finish before I can go in peace. God please help me!

Oh yeah, isn't Prefab Sprout one of the coolest groups ever?

My New Toy!

Wow! It's been a year since my last post! That's really quite something... :)

God is really good to me. I've been wanting to get a good multi-effects pedal board for a long time and have eyed the Boss GT-6 for a long time. Finally got it used (though it's almost brand new) at an awesome price, at least $150 off retail. I'm really blessed.

I used this yesterday for my youth service. Bertram, our drummer, was not around and we had to have an all-strings band. Sing Tee on keyboard strings, Royston and Loke Peen on acoustics... used the acoustic simulator on the GT-6 and the sound was awesome. Wished the on stage monitors could be improved. The sound is too shrill! Definitely need to invest more time to get more out from the GT-6. I'm a happy guy!
