Preparation Starts...

My weekend is marvellous! Dear was with me for the Sat & Sun and this make it very rare as he often have to work at weekends..

We went to Suntec for " The Wedding Diary" and realise that its actually a exhibition for bridal shops from other countries enticing people to get the bridal shots taken overseas..Most of them are from Taiwan..

As we have no plans to take our shots from overseas, we just stroll through the exhibitors and out we went. Just as we are about to leave Suntec to meet my parents for dinner, i came across White Link booth... i flip through the photos and decided to enquire more.

After an half an hour talk, we are into it..haha, very fast decision! Actually i had done my homework beforehand and had listed out White Link to be one of the bridal shops that i would sign up with. Since they have a promotion going on, we signed up for it and paid a deposit..
That settle my bridal shop hunt! Phewww....( 1 down)

Next will be actually to get a date chosen for our big day but that have to wait till End of May.

Meanwhile will wait for Dear's parent to decide if they want a banquet or not..Den from there i can make arrangements for Photographer or Videographer..( if required)

Since we have a year ro make preparation, i will take everything at my own pace.....

Consolidation of past mth..

So many things happen within this month..Happy, Sad, Painful....all sorts of feeling..

On Feb 13rd,I am at KL Ascott with Dear celebrating our Valentine's Day..He whipped up lots of food for me and even surprise me with a bouquet of roses..Heehee..although this trick is so old but at least he bothers.. ( please try something new )

On FEb 14th..Its Valentine Day!!Went for breakfast and to Pavilion for shopping..In the midst of shopping, i received a msg from mum to Dear ( apparently she can't contact me ).. My Grandma is in critical condition and doctor was saying that its anytime for her to go.. i treated it as she will be lucky enough to wait a few more hours for me to travel back to see her for the last time..

But she left even before i left the KL toll...Was being told that i have to reach before sunset to see her face for the last time.. Xiaohei tipped his performance at 180km/hr..and Dear was actually rather worried that i will not be in time to see my Grandma..But by looking at his speedometer, i was rather worried that we will join my grandma instead!!haha..
Finally reached my place at 6.45pm..its minutes to sunset...i am just in time..
Procedures and rituals were being carried out for the next 5 days. Joyce, Taniel & me have few hrs of sleep each day..Very tiring..

On Feb 18th..its the last day we can keep my grandma accompany..we accompany her to the last journey..all were sad but convinced that she is in a place where she did not have to cough and difficulties in breathing anymore..

Went for the Natas Travel fare..intending to go overseas this year..choosing between Europe & Taiwan...However we have decided to go Europe for our honeymoon next year..I make use of the opportunity to ask Dear if he wants to marry me anot! if he wana marry me den we can't go Europe this year! He replied that he wants to marry me !! ( thank god..) Wahahhaha...
SO i make the suggestion to have a very simple wedding ( preferably no Banquet) den we will fly to Europe! So till now we are still sourcing around for good deals..but wedding photos & bridal gowns will not be compromised! We might not need lots of photo..but enough to let us reminisce the process of the photo shooting. But I am glad at least i have a direction to work towards, i am not aimless anymore! Currently i will have to wait till 100 days after my Grandma's death before i can seek a good date to get married off..
