HR Manager Induction

Last week our office held the HR Manager Induction which means that any new HR Manager from around the world employed by us will have to join this 5 days course. This project is my new baby as I have to coordinate as well as prepare the stuff which includes their materials and meals. As this is our 1st time organising this, it seems rather tough as we have to bring together all the materials which is a challenge..but with the help from Lena and Julie, i got it all done..This Induction is rather successful as we receive positive feedback from the participants. Julie helped me in alot of aspects in coordinating as i am rather busy with the presentation slides for my director and other handover stuff..

On the 2nd last day of the Induction, we bring them for Lunch & dinner...

I still have 2 more HR Manager from Saudi & Egypt but i have forgotten to take pics with them...heehee

Lena is so funny ..she kept asking me to eat and stop playing host! But i thought that its my part to do such things! She insisted me to stop and start eating before all the food are gone..One of the manager is rather strange..he took 2 of the abalone dish, ate the asparagus and prawn but threw the abalone!!! I was rather taken aback..haha...They knew thats the more expensive part but....well...to each of its own..

After dinner, we went to Chinatown for shopping..the managers from Egypt & Saudi are so good at bargaining!! I was rather embarassed and afraid that the people from the store will start to curse and swear so Lena & me walked away silently..heehee..so bad of us! at 12am we are still shopping!! Finally managed to chase them up a cab at ard 12.30am and we went home..

Nice outing but tiring!! The next HR Manager Induction is on February.. and the cycle will repeat again..except for different place for meals..

Mak Farewell Dinner

Its another department dinner again..This time its for Mak ( my colleague) as he is leaving us to Angola..Its a promotion for him as he will be a Rig Manager there..Good for him!

Our dinner is at No 5 Lock Road..Its a Brazilian Restaurant where it serves all types of meat..from chicken,lamb,beef & pork..Intestines included!!( Not for me)Quite a variety of side dishes though..as of below...

Actually I am very fortunate to have this boss as she is really very supportive and doting on me..heehee..But at times she says I am fierce..She is a very understanding & supportive boss..

In the past i have some bad experience with a particular female boss..(those who knows me will know who i have a feud with) But my current boss prove that not all female boss are that way!

Next is me & my twin..she is my boss's boss! Complicating huh! But she is a pretty and cute lady..Single & available! Friends reading my blog please let me know if you know any nice guys, our whole dept wants to marry her off as she spent too much time on her work that she has no time to get a BF! Please refer those guys to me hor, i think i will handpick before i submit the choice to her..SHe is easy to be with, no need to put on a guard against her as she is a straightforward gal..If she dun like my way of doing things,she will let me know...i rather it this way den stabbing me in the back..I always like to bully her also!!wahahahh..thats y my other colleagues are saying that " you bully LENA LEE, your days are numbered!!!"I know they are teasing me..My twin knows me when i am joking and when i am serious, right???

This pretty lady is Lyn.Same age with me.She is from Ngee Ann Business as well..She spotted me on my 1st day of work and told Tricia that I am from Ngee Ann.But i dun recognise her..she is great to be with,very comfortable toking to..tone of talking very similar to me..getting married on May 1st..Our common phrase is " SI MI DAI JI???" We clicked ..Most importantly she is also from Pink Bitch Club..Hahah

Tricia (middle) & Wendy are also on good terms with me..We have loads of rubbish to talk about..Tricia is of the same age as me,from Ngee Ann & Wendy is a mother of 2..

Judy ( middle ) is our HR manager..She will be taking over my jobscope and I will have a new job scope this year..this explains why I am so busy recently..

Last but not least our male lead for the night,Mak Ong Yan. He is an expat resident,Nationality : Malaysian..Attached with a girlfriend.

Mak: We will miss your laughter and presence! Do take care & stay in contact!

Went to this small little park opposite Khatib MRT, nice ambience and great for family outing.

Along the road to the park, there are stalls selling organic fruits & vegetables.

In the park itself, there is a prawn catching pond..But the rates are exhorbitant! $43.50 for 4 hours!

There is also longkang fishing..but alot of small fishes are being trampled inside the pond resulting in death! The sight of the dead fishes in the pond makes me wonder how the adults could allow their kids to carry on the activites. Qian Hu will be a better choice.

There is a large restaurant inside selling a variety of food..seafood n bbq & desserts..wide selection.

Had dinner there and went home after that..Quite happy to discover this place as this means more place to venture to.
