SkyVille & Sky Terrace at Dawson

Yesterday it's my 1st try to send in the HDB application.. Yes, I m buying a flat!!! Finally!
My 1st choice would be Sembawang but it doesn't have 5 rooms so we have to choose between Dawson and Bukit Panjang..Therefore our choice is clear...

Mum prefer Sky Terrace of its exterior..I am fine with both..Skyville has a bigger floor area for 5 room so i think that compensate it with its 'not so nice' exterior.. Both are eco friendly though...

However the interior of SkyTerrace attracts me...

I love high ceiling & full length window..It seems that the view is awesome! (provided its high floor). It has 43 floors so I think 30th storey is good enough for me.. I have phobia for heights!

They also have flexi layout scheme but that is for SkyVille..There are 3 different layout but i prefer these 2..

12 Dec 2009 - Saturday - Cloudy

Went to JB early in the morning with Dear & Celine.. Stuck in the Jam for an hour before we can eat our Fav Bah Kut Teh...

After which Dear went to do his car stuff and drop us at Old Town Cafe...

2 very full women eating straight away after the Bah Kut Teh!

Our Food - Ice chocolate, Mocha White Coffee, Double serving of Butter Kaya Toast.

Purely just Us!

After eating and eating we went back to Singapore.. Had mahjong session in Jason's place till around 1am..Manage to catch 2 hours of sleep before going on my weekly duty...

Can't wait to go to Port Dickson!!!

Lunch @ Sakae Sushi

Had lunch with Deborah at Sakae Sushi just now..

Our total bill of $47.40 ( after 10% discount ) consist of 10 sushi plates, 1 Yasai Kaminabe, 2 Chawanmushi and 2 cup of hot green tea..

I am sure i am going to miss all Transocean staff...Luckily for me, the new job that i had is a mini Transocean..haha..Therefore i will still see some of them there..

Thai Sharkfins Dinner

Last week I was feeling gloomy for a few days..Dun know if it's with regards to job or I am PMSing..well nevertheless after a treat from Dear, the gloomy is gone...

Sharksfin is my all time favourite dish although i know that everyone is saying : " when the demand stop, the supply will stop too." But I can't resist it! Dear know that its my favourite and he decided to give me a treat to cheer me up..So good of him!! Normally he very stingy lor..hahah..will suggest that I eat pasar malam $2/bowl sharkfins! Well that night he brought me to Kallang Leisurepark to eat Genuine & Authentic Sharkfins!!!

Look at the generous serving! I think the amount of sharkfins in this claypot is 10 times more than the one we had at banquet!! And the good thing is I had it all to myself!!!Wahahahah...Superlicious!! The taste is so good that there is no need for vinegar at all..

We ordered other dishes as well...Chicken drumstick in wine, Crab Beehoon and I think a vegetable as well..

Relishing the last drumstick! We finished everything to the last bit! The total bill is around $130..Reasonable price..After dinner, My smile is back again...that's when Dear says that I am so realistic! No Sharkfins, no Smile!

Yummy Yummy... let's see when I will be gloomy again! haha

Sunday Events

Last Sunday was a fruitful day..Woke up at 6.15am, had Macdonald Breakfast, went to Changi Exhibition Centre as Dear signed up for the Mitsubish Xtreme Drive!

Went through each stage with him and he is a Stun Driver now.. ( he proudly acclaimed )

Went to Kitty Lab as well after that..Nice exhibition..All props are flown in from Japan..Therefore the expensive $40.50 admission fee..

Bought a plush toy which i think is so cute..not being available elsewhere..Yan bought a T shirt..I am contemplating between T shirt or Plush toy..But i bought the plush toy..Kerry & Delvin paid for our purchase! happy..

Went to have late lunch and went home separately after that..Btw i had a new phone...N97 Mini! i simply love the colour..Rose Gold..Sold my Omnia to a second hand shop for $300! So i only have to top up $238 for a new phone..rather worth it i think..

I feel happy today..

After 1.5yrs with Transocean, Dear send me to work 1st time! haha..and so i am early..Went to get breakfast at the market..nice black carrot cake with tea! The tea is so nice..had not had such nice tea in a long time..Thick & sweet enough..the aroma is still lingering in my mouth..taking small sips at each time..so that i won't finish it too fast!

Dear send me to work cos i had to send my shoes for repair..and if i were to go back after work and bring that out again, its a hassle..therefore we put in the car and will go straight to repair after work..Plus Point : Save time for travelling.. Minus Point : Pay ERP..haha. That's why i think having a car for transport is so important! Although Singapore public transport is accessible, but i do not like being in a sardine packed MRT! i still prefer being chauffeured around by him..

What a nice day to start with..Therefore i am happy!

My Greatest Fear..

It's been a while since I last update my blog..Here I go..

One fine morning, I received a msg from my manager " APU Office Phased Out!!"
I jumped up from bed and woke up Dear to read the msg, he is startled..
I went to office and read my email to realise that it's not a joke!

I am going to be jobless soon! Who would have predicted that Transocean - Largest Offshore Drilling Company will have to close down its unit office to cut cost! Reason given by HQ ( Houston ) is there are too many layers in the hierachy..it make work less efficient.
The whole office is gloomy and atmosphere is so tense..I hated this..A few of us gathered in my Manager - Lena Lee's room with lots of questions which she herself can't even answer..Even her job is at risk..The next day I went to office and I asked colleagues that yesterday's happening is not true right?? But their laughter confirm my greatest fear! WE ARE REALLY GOING TO BE RETRENCHED! That week was tough..everyone's mood grew worse...we dun even have mood to plan where to go for lunch which is supposed to be our greatest time of the day.. The retrenchment mood is slowly setting in on all of us..

It's nearing a month since we got the news..Next is when to leave..Some of them have already been told to leave at the end of Oct..My fate is still clueless.. I hate it when I have no security! ( Both in work & love ) I think by next week we will know our fate..

Dear has flew to Berlin for the Firework Competition..I miss him..I miss his supportive words & encouragement..I asked him " Will you support me if i dun work?" He replied " Sure, i feed you with rice,curry & egg...No more restaurant..." hahahah...To me, this is supportive enough.. I know myself that i will have to work lah, but at times I just like to ask silly questions...He will be back on Sept 8th..I am counting down everyday..
He is so sweet today..He is supposed to work at 8am ( Germany Time ), but he woke up at 6am ( 12pm Singapore Time )just to msn me ..Didn't expect him to sacrifice his sleep for me..So touched! Thanks Dear..Appreciated..

Tomorrow I am going for an interview..Hope they can pay me as what I want and the benefits are as good as my current company..

It's our 47th month anniversary..

Happy that we went to 2 movies last night, happy that we share an umbrella in the rain with hips locked, hands on each other's waist..I liked that feeling!heehee..Hope it rains more when we are out in future..

I think rest of the days till NDP officially ends, he will be very busy.No time for me anymore..

Gathering at Wayne's house

We are being invited to Wayne's ( one of our managers in HR dept ) house last friday for a late lunch..He resides at Nathan Estate..The Condominium is damn big lor!!! ( 36,000sq meters)

They had 2 guest rooms & 1 masterbed room. All are fully furnished with top linen & deco..And the best part is they have a big balcony for every room & the living room! This is too much for me to take!

19th June.. The start of Journey

Finally the mystery is solved..We are going to Avillion Beach Resort at Port Dickson..
Set off at around 10am to go for my JB Bah Kut Teh, some grocery shopping and lunch at A&W halfway..

Reached at Port Dickson town at around 3pm but due to the misleading map,we are lost! I had had to call for help from Celine to give me the number of the resort before we finally make our way there.
Parked Xiaohei and checked in at around 4pm..

Dear arrange for someone to bring in the cake to our room on 23:59 ( 19th June )

So thoughtful of him to give me a surprise..although the cake is not as nice..

Pet feeding at 10.00am in the morning after breakfast..

There are quite a number of pets in the farm..guinea pigs,rabbit,rooster,peacock,tortoise and etc..

Went for a swim at the pool after the farm visit..

After swimming is Lunch!

Dear prepared red egg for me to go with my lunch..and he do all these while i m happily bathing.

Took a nap and work up at around 5 pm to start our romantic walk by the beach..

After our stroll, we decided to hunt for food..

We drove around in the town area & found a seafood restaurant and decided to settle for that. We had some prawns & veg and etc..eating chilli crab will be a messy affair so we decided to pack it back to our room.



Afterwhich we sit at our balcony and gaze at the stars and did alot of talking..

Its so romantic ( to me ) .. He actually take the effort to look at the stars even though he is very sleepy.

21st June..Ready to go home..

Do not be mistaken that he is sleeping & driving..his eyes is just small..haha..

Had our lunch at A&W again before heading back to Singapore.

Oh..Did I mention we took Tatty for holiday as well??

I really enjoyed my romantic short trip..all thanks to Dear for his planning..
